The prescription was granted. When I showed up to pick it up I was told that they couldn't give it to me unless I brought the dog in for an appointment (roughly $70). She gets prescribed the same medication every time we bring her in so it's nothing new. If you are not going to prescribe a medication without seeing the dog then say that over the phone. Now our dog gets to suffer for the next 5 days until clinics open back up. We will not be bringing our animals back to this place.

He's lost some since bc of our lack of follow through, but when we get serious with him, he quickly remembers his training (almost two years later). Because of his young age, they loved on him a lot and let him stay in quieter place than their kennel building. When he is boarded, they always do refresher training. I wish we lived closer so we could board there every time we are out of town. He is going for a week soon while we go on vacation and I know he is in the best hands!

He and I have been delighted by the love and care that he receives from everyone at Lakeland, especially Dr Brown. When it's time for a checkup, I just say "Want to go to the vet?", and he literally jumps and spins with joy. We have been with Dr Brown the entire time, and she is awesome! She obviously loves Franklin, and he loves her. She provides consistently excellent care, and is great about communicating with me about his conditions, as he has diabetes, and needs the kind of veterinary care that Dr Brown delivers. And the reception desk staff is equally welcoming and supportive. Frank loves them, too, particularly Brandi, who clearly also loves him. Lakeland Animal Clinic is a welcoming, warm, loving place for my 10 pound dog, and he knows that, which is why he gets so excited when I say "Let's go to the vet!" I had made an appointment to get my German Shepherd a medicated bath with the actual Vet. He told…read moreme they needed to keep him for several hours after his bath in case he had a reaction. I was told to bring him in at 730 sharp so they had time to bathe him and wait the allotted time. I was to pick him up at noon, when they closed. Nobody showed up until 8. When i returned at noon the Vet displayed confusion as to why my dog was there. He got more and more agitated, telling me that he had already told me they had to keep him all day. They didn't bathe him. They left him in the kennel all morning, untreated. I got upset with the way his voice kept rising over mine. Finally i enough of being shouted at, and demanded my dog. The Vet banged his hands down on the counter and screamed at me that i was crazy, i was crazy and get the hell out. The veterinarian did this. Screamed at me. Called me crazy and told me to get the hell out. It was the most unstable reaction I've ever seen in my life. I would NEVER trust such an unhinged person with the life of my dog. EVER.
