For the last couple of years I have been taking my 14 year old Miniature Dachshund to Lakeland Animal Clinic after his former vet's office closed. He and I have been delighted by the love and care that he receives from everyone at Lakeland, especially Dr Brown. When it's time for a checkup, I just say "Want to go to the vet?", and he literally jumps and spins with joy. We have been with Dr Brown the entire time, and she is awesome! She obviously loves Franklin, and he loves her. She provides consistently excellent care, and is great about communicating with me about his conditions, as he has diabetes, and needs the kind of veterinary care that Dr Brown delivers. And the reception desk staff is equally welcoming and supportive. Frank loves them, too, particularly Brandi, who clearly also loves him. Lakeland Animal Clinic is a welcoming, warm, loving place for my 10 pound dog, and he knows that, which is why he gets so excited when I say "Let's go to the vet!" Thanks to Dr Brown and Brandi I could not more highly recommend LAC, Dr Brown, and Brandi. read more

This place is outrageous when it comes to costs for one small dog...$99 for an Emergency and $75 for a routine visit. That's a little high for my budget what about yours?? I found another one called Vet Care on Highland. That vet was so Compassionate and all visits including Emergency visits was $51 .They worked with me on a payment plan. Plus TEXT me about an emergency after hours. I would have had to pay $500 for 2 small Chihuahua size dog s only one getting the rabbies vaccine. The other a heartworm check and boardatella vaccine..That Crazy greedy for money. Good thing I asked to add it all up before the checkup . Places ridiculous only for the rich and screw the ones on a fixed income . Absolutely terrible poor animals have to suffer no wonder why people abandon their pets because I can't afford them in these day and age . God have mercy on us all read more

The exam rooms are unkempt and dirty - upon my visit there were random open boxes in the room, dirty cages stacked on top of one another, a dirty office chair, and the exam table had not been cleaned prior to my animal being seen. It is important to note that these rooms are about 10x10 feet - very tight squeeze with the mess present in the room. This is now the second time I have had a poor experience here and will not be returning. read more

We travel full time so our dogs are seeing different vets across the country. It can be tricky right now because so many businesses aren't taking new clients. I was able to get both of my dogs in within the week that I called to inquire about an appointment. Dr Rambavge is the best vet I have ever used. I drove 70 miles to have him care for my cats. They carry a variety of products and food for animals. He has met me at his office several times after hours and saved my cats. His has receptionist have been there several years and is very nice. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! We brought in a rescue American Bully and they treated him like he was the only animal in the building! "Dozer" felt comfortable and loved Dr. Frayser! We had only had him a day and was nervous how he would react but he fit right in with the staff and they were great to him and us!! We love this place!!! read more

I dropped my injured cat off with food and paid for the anticipated services upfront (required preventive shots, a flea pill, anticipated x-rays, antibiotic shot and pain killer shot). I was informed that the charge could be more or less depending on what was done/needed. Totally understandable. The vet called me way later than I was told I'd be contacted, not with an update on my cat, but to ask if I would like to have him neutered. I informed her that I'd like to just stick to what I was having done. I wasn't called again until it was time to pick up my cat which was around closing the next day. There were several issues such as the technician double charging me even when I showed him my payment receipt; I had to ask another technician if there was someone I could speak with about the issue and she said I'd have to wait until the next day to speak with the vet. However, the real issues were with my cat.... I dropped him off in an XL carrier and when I stepped to the side area to get him, I saw that he hadn't been moved from the spot I helped the technician drop him off at; the carrier had blood on it (I have pictures); and my cat hadn't been fed (the technician apologized and returned the cat food that I dropped off with him) . When I spoke to the vet the next day, she apologized for the double charges and for not feeding my cat. She also gave me the details of what was done. After a couple of weeks, my cat had improved but was still limping. Got a second opinion and it turns out what I was told was done wasn't and my cat's injuries deserved more attention than was initially given. read more

advised by All About Cats to take my cat here to get a vet. to look at him. the vet recomended a treatment plan and to keep the cat overnite. the next day they reported he was doing better. we picked him up and brought him back home when we discovered he was worst than he was the day before. now he could not walk or even hold his head up, labored breathing and crying in pain. this is the second cat we have taken to these people...in short if you are a cat owner BEWARE of these people read more

I am so impressed with the care Dr. Rumbavage and his clinic provided to my ailing cat. I was able to get an immediate appointment, his staff obtained records from my previous vet, and the doctor listened thoroughly, asked insightful questions, and overall made me feel comfortable with what was going on. My cat received a thorough exam, lab tests, medication, and fluid resuscitation. I never felt we were being rushed though I know there were others there also being cared for at the same time. I don't think I could be any happier with our new vet--Dr R and his staff are terrific. Oh, and the cost was less than I anticipated for the care we received. read more

I love this clinic for my cats. I have a cat with diabetes and a cat with expect IBD so I make many trips to the vet. Dr. Ricks has taken time to answer all my questions and has never pushed any unneeded tests. He has went over all treatment options for my cats and listened to my thoughts on them. I have been taking my cats and dogs to see Dr. Rumbavage for close to 20 years. He and his staff have always had my animals best interest at heart. He always approaches any condition with caution, by ruling out things one at a time. He is not quick to jump to conclusions and load me up with a bunch of expensive meds and special foods until he knows what he is dealing with. A common sense approach always prevails. He speaks to you as if your animals are your children, what he thinks the best approach is and why. He actually believes in doing what is best for your pet is best not HIS wallet!! I sent my 82 year old mother to him because he would not screw her over like the vet she had been using for years! Within the 1st visit my Mom's dog was showing great improvement! Her previous vet had been stringing her along for years and her little dog was steadily getting worse. My Mom was considering have her put to sleep because her dog put to sleep because she was so miserable. Not to mention he was charging her a small fortune! If you need a 2nd opinion I strongly urge you to give Dr. Rumbavage and his staff at Lakeland Animal Clinic or All about Cats a try. I seriously doubt you will regret it! read more

The front desk lady is very nice but the other employees lack social skills. Some of the employees come to the front desk and never made eye contact with me just talked amongst themselves about everything but work. There doctoring skills are questionable but I was just in there to get a second opinion. They tried to push products on me with nothing to back up their recommendations. read more
