I RSVPed for Camp Yelp back in August (thanks Craig!) and was happy to receive my party pass. I often see posts from other Yelp regions where they have huge events. Finally, I had the opportunity to participate with Yelpers from all over the Puget Sound region and up & down the I-5 corridor this evening at the Imagine Children's Museum in Everett (11/3/25). Three levels of awesomeness. A wide variety of purveyors, vendors, and creatives showcasing their cuisine, beverages, snacks desserts, and products. There were folks too who photographed for photo keepsakes, a henna artist, a tarot card reader, lively DJ, and others I may have missed. Loved that some Yelpers & guests arrived in camp attire. That's the party spirit! Caught up with familiar faces in person, chatted up others at the tables, and talked with vendors. I think I covered most of the 3rd floor vendors. Wished I could have tried the fresh oysters, sushi nigiri, cotton candy, and the Dué Cucina table...was too full! Such tasty variety! Was lucky to partake in the first ever WA #CampYelp !!! It was fun and, a lot of foooood!!! We all got to gather at Imagine Children's Museum, in Everett. It was a nice space to be able enjoy a ton of food vendors and also be able to run around like kids and burn off all of the delicious Pork Belly, from Due Cucina, Cookies, from Paper Napkin, Creamy Chocolates, from Royce, Sausage Rolls, from Premier Meat Pies and more! I met several new friends, that weren't Elites, so it was great to give them a little taste of how the YES! world works! Hopefully, we'll see more of them soon! Large Yelp Events are like a box of chocolates. You just never know what you're going to get. Due to the time of the month the event took place, I didn't think I would be able to make it work with work, but something told me I would suffer from FOMO after I saw all the pics. Thank goodness I signed up last minute. What a great event that screams what Yelp is all about. I love that the event was open to everyone and not just Elites. This is the best showcase of local businesses with the opportunity to sample from many small businesses and entrepreneurs. I felt really special even after 8 years of being a Yelp Elite. A huge thank you to Yelp for organizing Camp Yelp and to all the vendors who spent the evening with the Yelp Community. The museum was pretty cool too. I was too focused on the vendors and food/drinks that I didn't really get the chance to "play", but what I did get to check out were quite cool. I'd come back to the Museum! The museum is three stories and so plenty of space for the hundreds of people in attendance. Sometimes large events also means long lines/waits and also just overcrowding, but this wasn't the case at all. read more

It's been a long time since I have been to such a large Yelp event and an even longer time since I have been to the Imagine Children's Museum. This was a great idea for a get together and a night of fun with fellow yelpers. Who doesn't love an adult themed camping party, I only wish I was not coming from work and could get more into the dress up. I loved the people with headlamps and hats off to the Gochiso people and their smores costumes. The Children's Museum is so much larger than I recalled. I would never have remembered it had 3 floors, so fun to be able to have the whole 3rd floor open to different types of food. I absolutely loved the potato options at Roll Pod, cotton candy at Sweet Art, Seattle Pickle Company, ice cream at Salt and Straw, Cocoa Legato, etc. I even made it to eat in person at the Roosevelt Due Cocina yesterday and I have been a long time lover of the Cottage. The 2nd floor was great to be able to get drinks. The Slightly Furry Beverage Company is also on my future to do list and I have been meaning to go in person to check out the transformation of U-Neek, now that ownership has changed. Everything at the Children's Museum is much more fun with drinks. I wish I'd had more time to wait in the henna and tarot lines, but I was too busy exploring the museum and catching up with Yelpers I hadn't seen in awhile. Our YES squad did it again- giving us another great night. Don't know how much work went into this but this was an amazing feast. I just recently went keto and have lost 18 pounds in one month, but when I saw the vendor list today I told Sis, "Imma cheat today" and she said,"Uh, yeah we are." Everyone started with the porchetta sandwiches right near the entrance, while all the other booths were waiting for us, so I headed across the way and got a meatball in some marscapone cheese and tomato sauce from The Cottage, some fried rice, chocolate and nice convo from our friends at Cocoa Legato, sushi from Mikan (which was a good thing because their table got swamped and people were scraping up the leftovers). Sis grabbed the porchetta from Due Cucina , some antipasto from Graze Craze, and sandwiches from Bleuwich. Without planning it, we divided and conquered. The food was so plentiful. However, my favorite bites were the Asian Chex mix from Gochiso, which was so good that I took samples to share with my friend who is always looking for Asian snacks. The Naked, Double Chocolate, and salted chocolate chip cookie bites from Paper Napkin were my other fave. Maybe it's because I haven't had carbs in a month, but dang, they were so good. The Naked one was so buttery it tasted like an ooey, gooey butter cake and it was heavenly. A surprise for me was the cotton candy from Sweet Art. That combo of banana and marshmallow was sensational and I can't wait to get another one the next time I see them around. And of course there's Salt & Straw. I tried their Salt and caramel which was as good as I'd imagined it. Sis tried the vanilla which I liked even better because of its subtlety. It was also good to see friends and make new friends, which is new for me. Then we went to the second floor and this place is so cool. My favorite thing was the kinetic sand that you can form into seas and volcanoes and how the light is reactive to what you're creating. One guy flattened the sand around him and the lights turned the sand into farmland. A lady made a volcano and Sis put a riverbank next to it and the volcano flowed into the river. Then we made a storm. So freaking cool! Lauren and her team outdid themselves on this one and the vendors were all so gracious, and the venue was amazing. Such a great night! Huge thanks to Alexa, Lauren, and the entire Yelp team for putting together such an incredible event! Parking: Street parking was surprisingly easy after 6 PM--no restrictions made it a breeze. Entry: We lined up outside and were welcomed in right at 6 PM. IDs were checked, and we got stamped for 21+ access. Museum Vibes: The children's museum was a delight to explore, with engaging exhibits for kids of all ages. Activities: The first and second floors were packed with fun--tarot readings, a notebook giveaway game, and beautiful henna art. Drinks: Upstairs, the second floor served up delicious drinks. Everyone was super friendly, and the flow of beverages was impressive! Food Heaven: The third floor was a feast! Sushi, potstickers, sandwiches, meatballs, meat pies, oysters, pickles, snack mix, ice cream, cotton candy, Korean bites, cookies, and chocolates--so many tasty options! One of the best events I've been to this year! Big thanks to the Yelp team, Imagine Children's Museum, and all the wonderful vendors!! So fun to get to talk with everyone, try various foods, and check out a museum I've always driven by but never went in. All the vendors were so friendly and happy to explain their sample food and their business. The museum itself was awesome too and even though it's for kids, I was enjoying learning myself! Felt awesome to just experience everything and the camp vibe themes delivered for sure. Loved how there were other vendors scarred on the other floors besides the main food hall. There was even an awesome magician who kept us entertained as we waited to have a tarot reading. Best of all, it was open to all Yelpers too which allowed everyone to get to know each other and mingle. Although I didn't get to a land a table at the foot hall, there was plenty of areas I could hang out and eat, and talk with others. All the vendors seemed genuinely happy to share their passions which I appreciated as well. 10/10 event and I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!! read more

Welcome to Camp Yelp! This place is amazing. I talked to the staff and there is one in Olympia that I want to visit. It took me an hour and 45 minutes to get here with traffic but it was well worth a visit and I got a chance to donate to the museum as well. This is one of the coolest children's museums I've ever seen or had a chance to attend. I totally want to take a family member here that I know would enjoy this so much. I loved hanging out with other Yelpers and seeing the big grins and smiles on our faces and that alone was worth it to me. What a fun night of being a kid again! We arrived right before 6pm and were in the door in less than 10 minutes. We toured the first floor, grabbed drink samples on the second floor, then made our way up to food on floor three. What stellar food options! There was a lot of variety, and we liked it all. I think the only thing we didn't try was the cotton candy. The museum was amazing, and I will encourage all of my friends with kids to go! I loved experiencing it with all adults since I have no kids of my own. I did not expect to spend the full 3 hours at the event, but we had so much fun we lost track of the time. Camp Yelp definitely made it into my top 3 favorite Yelp events of all time. My only suggestion for improvement: more tables to eat at - either sitting or standing would have made a huge difference. read more

Wow, to pull all this together and coordinate a huge event with the museum and vendors and to have it so well organized and spread throughout the museum - yall are amazing. The event was seriously so much fun. So great being a kid again and exploring all the fun learning and activities the museum had to offer. The food and beverages were delicious and such a big spread with all sorts of samplings to fit everyone's needs. I really loved sampling from restaurants I haven't tried yet and the food did not disappoint. My favorites were Due Cucina's eggplant sandwich, Act 3 catering's kimchi rice, Bleuwiches, Paper Napkin, Roll Pod, Gochiso, and Sweet Art! Wow! Summer camps of my youth were never this fun!!!! This was a super exciting and well attended event. So much food, entertainment and drinks and especially other Yelpers! The Imagine Children's Museum in Everett is one of the best I've ever been to. With several kids of my own, I've been to my fair share of these places over the years and Imagine is by far the top one. Great venue. The food and drink options were wonderful with so many types of offerings. I loved everything I tried especially the Bulgogi Chicken sandwich and the Salt and Stra offerings. The event's beginning was a bit rough since I was getting multiple copies of the same emails, and the party pass QR code came the day of the event and not the day before (that was the given time line). Check in was pretty quick though once the line got moving. BUT, I'm glad to say that the event was very cool itself! Plenty of visitors stuck to the dress code and there were so many vendors with delicious offerings. My favorite was Due Cocina - their porchetta was to die for! I was surprised that Salt n Straw gave out individual packaged cups of ice cream since I didn't even know that was a thing they offered. I got the vanilla since it was a flavor I had never tried (I always go for the seasonal flavors due to severe FOMO) and it was very rich-I'll definitely add that to my flavor repertoire. I loved how there was even a tarot reader in the mix, and how the rest of the museum was open for exploration. I've never visited a childen's museum without a small child in tow and so it was cool to interact and play with the exhibits without worrying I'm bullying some kid away from enjoying it. This event is definitely for the books! What an amazing community event highlighting a ton of vendors. A very big thank you to Imagine Children's Museum, Yelp Team, and all of the participating vendors. This is by far the largest Yelp event I've attended in Washington State. The venue is an absolutely treat to the senses. It's an interactive museum and features 3 levels each with different activities. The first level had the Woodlands Adventure & Canopy Gallery, Farm, Trains, Airplance, and even ATC Tower. There's also a large gathering space with a DJ Rocka Romeo rocking some hot mixes and photo booth by Charme. There was also tarots from Reading by Alissa. Second level had the Puget Sound Eco-Systems Gallery, Shallow Sound Aquarium, Engineer It, and Distribution Center Gallery. I had an opportunity to relive my grade school days of creating and flying paper airplanes at the Engineer It area. The drink vendors were also located on this level. There was bubble tea by Dreamy Drinks and fresh juices from Pure Green. Beer and cider was provided by Slightly Furry. I tried a mix of their Purrrfectly Pear and Cinnabear cider and immediately loved their ciders. The third level was where the food vendors were located. This level is the designated eating area and has a large capacity. I tried samples from Due Cucina, The Cottage, Seattle Pickle Co, SEA Shucked, Salt & Straw, Premier Meat Pies, ROYCE Chocolate, Mikan Sushi Bento, and a few other vendors. Y'all outdid yourselves again! Another unique experience provided by the Yelp crew! Sushi? Oysters? Sandwiches? Chocolate? Cotton Candy? ICE CREAM? Kimchi Fried rice? Beer and Wine? I had so much food I can't decide which one was my favorite! Well if I REALLY had to pick, I would say the pork sandwich, sushi and the raw oysters! This review is a little long overdue, but this event was such a blast! Parking was a little difficult but not bad. Traffic was bad though lol. The line getting in wasn't too long. There was an exclusive elite line that I was able to get in. The venue itself was incredible. So many fun things to do and look at. Drink tickets were $10 each and limited at 2. All of the vendors were awesome. So friendly and fun to learn about businesses. I also love how all the proceeds go towards the museum. There were so many food options and everything was so tasty. This is a long, long overdue review of the Camp Yelp event earlier this month. I had taken a bunch of pix but only recently realized that I hadn't checked in nor posted them! It truly was a great event. I don't think I'd ever have gone to the Imagine Children's Museum in Everett if it hadn't been for this event. I had told some of my friends in the area (mostly non-Yelpers) to sign up and join me at the event. The exhibits were so much fun! We all loved it! Especially the paper airplane shooting exhibit. My one and only complaint was the food. The third floor was pretty much dedicated to it, with a ton of vendors. We arrived about 6:15, so pretty early, and headed to the third floor pretty quickly. Even still, we didn't arrive early enough: some of the vendors were already out! I missed the Indian wraps and the sushi, for example, both of which I wanted to try. Major bummer! But overall it was a great event. Yet another great event put together by the Yelp staff. read more

Late review but this event was a blast! Also the largest Yelp event I've been to with hundreds of attendees. Imagine Children's Museum was a great host with multiple floors of fun. I thought I would spend most of the time on the food floor but I actually spent more time on the other floors exploring the museum with friends as there was a lot to see and do! On the food floor the options were plentiful with numerous vendors serving up delicious items! There were a couple vendors I was familiar with but I'd never heard of most vendors and it was fun to try their offerings. One of the highlights for me was Due Cucina bringing a whole porchetta and serving foccacia sandwiches. I have been following them on Instagram for a while so it was really fun to meet Chef Filippo! #CampYelp was a blast! Around 400 Yelpers got to explore the @imaginechildrensmuseum in Everett after hours while enjoying a smorgasbord of food and drink from local vendors. This was so much fun getting to see the countless friends I've made through Yelp all in one place while tasting the exceptional goods made by small businesses from our area. From Italian porchetta sandwiches and the prettiest charcuterie platters to sushi and fresh shucked oysters and ice cream to beer and juices, we were treated to the tastes of the sound and beyond. I was blown away by @duecucina sandwiches and felt starstruck by getting to meet the chef that's in a lot of their social media videos. I loved the cookies from @thisispapernapkin and the chicken tokla wraps from @therollpod . The @snackgochiso snacks and the high quality chocolates from @cocoalegato were Soo good - these are definitely going to be gifts for family and friends this holiday season! I want to gift them so others know how good they are! The kölsch by @uneekandcruciblebrewing , the healthy juices from @puregreendowntownseattle and the classic milk tea boba from another vendor were so refreshing. In between food and drink we explored the museum, playing with the kinetic sand and the connected light show, doing some trivia by Smile Fun Books (a young lady starting a STEM education company!), henna by @sarahennaseattle , and taking lots of fun photos at the booth provided by @charme.bloombar . This event knocked it out of the park and really showcased some of the best of the best small businesses in the Seattle area. Plus our donations went to support the Children's Museum! What a fun event, letting our inner child experience the joy and wonder of the Imagine Children's Museum. Around every corner was a new stimulation to delight the senses and ... and a reminder of just how much science I've forgotten since my childhood lol I think climbing through the treehouse area was the most terrifying and fun :). Crawling through, thinking to myself "ok, this is made for children ... but can it really hold a fat man who's a clumsy off?" and I'm glad to see, it held up to the test :) The food was an interesting mix! There was plenty of items but not a whole lot for vegans. However, two saviors were Salt & Straw, with their delicious Strawberry Coconut Water Sherbet. I'm not generally a big sherbet fan but this was really good! The other savior was The Roll Pod, with their spicy and tantalizing Achaari Aloo Roll (potato, ginger, garlic, tomatoes, carrots, cilantro, salad medley and roti). These had quite the delightful kick and packed with amazing flavor. I'll definitely be on the lookout for their food truck next time I'm out and about! I had no idea the Museum was so large, with so many exhibits. I think my favorites. In addition to the treehouse mentioned earlier, another favorite was the airplane section. It was surreal in a way, to imagine what it might feel like to be a child exposed to such a powerful technology, how that must really ignite their imagination!! There was something going on each floor whether it was the live dj, tarot reading, drinks, or of course the food. All the food vendors were lovely and did a wonderful job explaining what was in each item or where to find them! Wow this was an event for the ages!! This is my kinda of camping. The event was marvelous from start to finish. All of the pre-event communication was timely and well communicated. Having a separate entrance for Yelp Elites was a nice touch. Felt like VIP treatment! The museum itself was so fun to explore. So many hands on activities and learning opportunities. The food...wow! Every vendor knocked it out of the park. My favorites were Dreamy Drinks, Due' Cucina, and Cocoa Legato. I needed a tray for all the food I got to try! I really felt like the vendors represented the perfect variety of the foods found throughout the Greater Seattle area. Even tried my first oyster! Attended the biggest Yelp event at a great fun museum, Imagine Children's Museum in Everett. We used to take our kid in this hands on museum. It brought back good memories when my son played and enjoyed this place. My husband and I enjoyed this place like a kid. So fun! Educational too! The Yelp event was filled with fun and good food. Excited to try some vendors who served and sampled their yummy stuff. Food ranged from oysters, Indian food, meatballs, Royce chocolate, cotton candy - my favorite since I was a kid, ice cream from Salt and Straw, drinks from a boba truck, yummy porchetta sandwich, sushi rolls among others. One of the best Yelp events I've ever been to! I've never been to the imagine children's museum, and getting to explore it at leisure without kids was much more fun than I expected. The amount and variety of food was also kind of amazing - there was an entire porchetta with delicious focaccia sandwiches, chocolate tasting, salt and straw ice cream, sushi, Korean food, and more - and all of it was great! It was incredible the amount of diversity of options there were, and it was super generous with portions as well! Rounding out the meal with some cotton candy and boba was the icing on top. 10/10 Yelp Elite Event. You all killed it! This adult takeover of the Imagine Children's Museum was a huge success. With the venue closed to the public, my group of friends were able to truly be kids again and do all the activities without judgement. We laughed so hard and had the best time. Venue was 10/10. The food vendors were all excellent and brought their A-game. If I had to pick a favorite, Due Cucina debuted their BRAND NEW sandwiches that will be releasing soon, and they brought so much to the table!! The owner was so pleasant to talk to. The VIP line for Yelp Elites was very thoughtful. Thank you for planning Camp Yelp. I had a blast and Im excited to check out some of the vendors fully, outside the event. If I'd visited this place as a child, I don't think I'd ever leave. What a wonderland of experiences and imagination! Pretend to fly a plane! Build something! Experiment with water, light, and air! Perform on a stage! Create a stop-motion movie! Climb a treehouse! We bounced around the attractions, embracing our own inner children. Unfortunately, what we *should've* been doing was running straight to the 3rd floor for food. We got to the food about 20-30min after opening, and based on the pictures here, we missed a LOT. The sushi, which I was looking forward to, was already gone. Apparently the meat that was being sliced was originally served in little sandwiches (which appear to have been a highlight). There was a dessert table? How did we miss so much in so little time? I know that vendors were told to bring more than they thought they should, so I hope this helps to inform future event vendors. There was also very little seating and no place to put our tiny sampler platters while we ate. A bunch of taller tables to stand at, or a small box tray like they offer at The Taste NW would've been welcome. Tarot readings were also available, but we stood in line and realized it would've taken 45 minutes to work through the 10 people in front of us. I think this would've been better if they'd either had more readers, set time limits per readings, and/or appointments you could sign up for at the beginning. So we didn't get to experience this. Having said all that, everything we ate was delicious, the staff was gracious, and the drink tickets effectively serving as donations to allow more children to enjoy this museum was brilliant. The logistics of an event like this are insane, so props to Yelp for pulling it off. My non-Elite friends who attended were incredibly thankful - what a great way to showcase the benefits of Yelp Elite! We were all raving about it the whole way home. So well-run, everything was organized very well and it was so much fun to be a part of! Thank you to Lauren, Alexa, all the vendors and Imagine Children's Museum for an event that's been filling my inbox for a long time but was absolutely worth going to! Due to some conflicts and my not getting RSVPs ahead of time to some friends and family, I ended up getting my Party Pass alone to this event and arrived at around 6:20pm after battling traffic and struggling with some parking nearby. I went in through the Wall St entrance which didn't have much of a wait, and was greeted by a huge Camp Yelp light display where I got my picture taken. Staff around the area were very helpful in guiding us to the entrance of the museum and the lines where we can choose to donate to the museum and get our drink tickets. Most event-goers here were actually dressed up for the theme of the event, so this felt like a pretty exciting event to be part of. Each floor had some fun stuff to do though most of the action occurred around the 2nd and 3rd floors. The 1st floor was a jungle-like area with stairways and areas we could climb and walk around in, and an area to build makeshift houses using blocks. Not far off was tarot reading, a photo booth from Charme, and a robust DJ set that played EDM music that mainstream raves today really need to touch on instead of playing the same old things (I'm looking at you, BOO). I was ready to see what other nice surprises awaited me in the rest of the floors. The 2nd floor was the children's shipyard area, where there was also an art room with some drinks from Dreamy Drinks and Pure Green, both of which got tons of traction for their refreshing drinks like boba and a peach pineapple green tea. There were also some interactives like paper-plane flying using machinery, a simulation on shipping packages, a crane area and an interactive simulation where you could accidentally - and jokingly - ship a package to Antarctica for upwards of $3,000 or more. The children's shipyard area also had a ton of interactive stuff as well. Most of the action was on the 3rd floor, which looked like a huge event room, only it was filled with food. Vendors were spread out across the edges of the room, and several big tables were strewn in the middle for us to sit down at. I got to try a ton of things, with the sandwiches from Due Cucina and Bleuwiches, and the sliders and kimchi rice from El Koreano being some of my biggest highlights throughout. I did come late and miss the food from Super Kim Crab House and Mikan Sushi Bento but those are now on my list long with many others - like Gochiso for their gochujang trail mix, Cocoa Legato for their coffee-inspired chocolates, and Paper Napkin for their light and delicious cookies - thanks to this event. All vendors were very friendly with us, especially the ones over at El Koreano for making sure I was having a good time here! I was very full afterwards. The whole event was organized well, with each floor having something distinct, thus making navigating the museum very easy. I eventually did meet with some other Yelpers I knew and we all had such a blast going through each floor and tapping into our inner nostalgias again. The almost incessant email and message stream coming in the past couple of days (I counted 12 emails/messages!), each giving a spoonful more of information, really increased my anticipation for this event. And wow, did it deliver. We arrived about 15 minutes before gates opened and there was already a small line formed that went around the corner from the Wall St. entrance. Security was a bit confused about the entrance situation since they were directing Elites to the general admission line and only allowed All-Stars through the Elite line, but they figured things out pretty quickly afterwards. It was otherwise generally very well organized, very impressive given the crowds and number of staff and vendors on hand. Most of the action was on the second and third floors, with drinks on the 2nd and food on top. It was actually a bit difficult to find the stairwell to the top floor - we accidentally ended up in a children's shipyard area first, thinking the open stairs across the drink area led to the food! When we finally reached the top, I was so glad I didn't eat dinner beforehand. I thought it would be small samples of food, like maybe a spoonful of ice cream here, a toothpick through a sample-sized portion of meat there... But wow, the vendors really went all out. Salt & Straw with entire mini containers of ice cream. Due' Cucina, Bluewiches, The Roll Pod and El Koreano with essentially full slider-sized sandwiches. Charcuterie boards and desserts at Graze Craze. Full small oysters at SEAshucked. Quartered cookies at Paper Napkin. Giant cotton candy swirls at Sweet Art. Everyone went all out here, giving Yelpers the full royal treatment. My favorite - Due' Cucina. I wasn't ever planning on ordering the porchetta sandwich given the inclusion of eggplant, but their sample totally changed my mind. Firstly, they had an entire log of porchetta being freshly cut and fried on the flattop, with the aromas wafting 20 feet out. At the start of service, they offered essentially quarter to half sandwiches, piled high with the porchetta, extremely savory and filled with the essence of garlic and rosemary. Fatty and tender, dripping with juices, on top of the perfect focaccia with the ideal crunchy fried crust and airy interior. And on top of the pork, pieces of marinated eggplant, soft, moist, full of tangy red wine vinegar-esque flavor. It's the best preparation of eggplant I've eaten - and it might be making me a convert. It was so good that I'm planning to visit in the next week or two to order the sandwich. Towards 7:30PM or so, the Due' Cucina booth brought out canolli for dessert and started offering pieces of the porchetta skin. Oh my god, that crispy crackly skin, that fattiness, that moist richness, that rich umami and porky flavor. Still thinking of it today. I wonder if I can ask for pieces of the skin at the restaurant... Okay, that's enough about the food. After we ate our fill (and let me tell you, we were stuffed), we wandered around the museum looking at all the exhibits, and just generally exploring the place. It's definitely a fun museum for kids and kids-at-heart! Great food, meeting new people (shout out to Allie and Babette C. who we were sharing a table with!), a fantastic venue, and a fabulously run event: what else could a Yelper ask for? Hats off to Lauren, Alexa, and the entire Yelp team, the staff of the Imagine Children's Museum, and all the vendors for making this such a special experience. I had an enjoyable at the Camp Yelp event! It was a lot bigger scale than I imagined and glad it turned out so well. Food: There were so many food booths from meatballs, meat pies, oysters to ice cream. It was bottomless aka AYCE food! My favorite was the corn elote boats from A3 catering. I literally encored 3 times. It was that delicious!!! Beverages: There were boba booth and smoothie tasting booth. There was drink ticket booth ($10/ ticket) for alcoholic beverages. There were cider, IPA, champagne and wine options. Activities: I really love that there was a DJ and photo booth stand. Long lines for henna and tarot reading, wish I had more time to line up for it. Arrived around 6 and the line was out the door! But the team got everyone in extremely fast! After we got our stamps & wrist bands, we picked up a few drink tickets and headed inside. I have never been to this museum before so it was fun getting to mess around with all of the interactive exhibits and not feel like I was stealing time away from a child that wanted to play with it. Adults need time to have fun like kids, too! Two floors of interactive & educational stations. I would bring my nieces/nephews here. We took a photo in front of the cute CAMP YELP sign and in the photobooth, but the lines for tarot and henna were long enough to make me skip over them. Pretty cool activities to include. We saw a mascot and a magician roaming around. Then we headed upstairs where the main food tables were set up. We got in line at the door for the very first table. Everything we tried was great. We missed out on a few things because we got caught up playing with the exhibits. But tons of vendors & decent portions. Lots of new things I am excited to try the full menus for. This was my first Yelp event here in Washington since moving here from Fort Lauderdale. What a great event to introduce me to your amazing community and city. Imagine Children's Museum was easy to find and parking was abundant. The museum was 3 floors of fun! We especially loved the interactive games on the 2nd floor and the replica plane and train on the first floor. The photo-booth is always a must as well. There was a lot to do, we had fun. All the food was on the 3rd floor. It was nicely set up so you could easily walk the room in a circle and try everything. The porchetta was a favorite, I also liked the cotton candy, ROYCE chocolates and the cheese selections. The only thing missing was there was no Yelp swag anywhere. Maybe I missed it? Overall it was an awesome event. Hope to meet more of you at future events. read more

My schedule has not allowed me to attend many Yelp events recently but this was the right one. The venue is a a creatively beautiful place. When I was a kid, I would probably spend the whole day here. The Dj was awesome and keeping the people dancing. The variety of different beverages was diverse and definitely thirst quenching. And then up onto third floor which was filled with food vendors for everyone and all tastes. Thank you Yelp for a wonderful and memorable evening with fellow Elites. read more

I've never heard of Camp Yelp, and it was so much fun being able to play around without any kids around! We got to climb on the treehouse and interact with water and air tubes without feeling like we're taking away from kids. Also, there were SO many vendors! I was amazed by the sheer amount of food and other goodies (I was excited to try the oracle reading-- hoping those things are true!). Many, many thanks to all of the vendors and to Yelp and Alexa/Lauren for hosting. It was completely worth it, and I hope that the non-Elites were excited to join Yelp Elite after this (I would've!). It was also cool to learn about some new locations and vendors to consider for the upcoming holiday season! (Maybe put my company money to good use hehe.) read more

The younger me was brought to life at this unique and fun Yelp event. I've brought our daughter to play at this museum at least 6 years ago, but I obviously missed the many cool interactive educational exhibits. My friend and I attempted to build structures that could withstand an earthquake, learned about oceanic animals, grooved to beats from the DJ, enjoyed chatting with the vendors offering so many creations that my pants nearly burst. Tried delicious cinnamon cider, charcoal smoothies, marshmallow flavored cotton candy, rich chocolatey ice cream, meatball delights, spicy picked green beans and more! We missed out on the fortune teller and henna tattoos (but so cool we had it). From the photo ops, clean and fancy gender neutral bathrooms, convenient parking, and friendly yelpers...this was the event of the year! Thank you for the fun Yelp family! read more

This was my very first Yelp event and honestly, it was such a blast. I've lived in Seattle for so many years and never been to anything like this before, so when I found out I got in as a first-time helper I was ridiculously excited. I even put on my "camping adventure" outfit and was ready to go. The energy walking in was so fun--everyone was in a good mood, and it really felt like a big community hangout more than a formal event. There were so many local vendors there, and I loved getting to try things I'd never had before. I had one of the best dark chocolate cookies I've ever tasted from Paper Napkin, plus new sandwiches, veggie options, drinks, and even fresh-shucked oysters. Some vendors were already open in the city, and some were still in the "coming soon" phase, which made it feel extra special to try things early and give feedback. I really appreciate how well organized everything was: they broke up the museum into different "zones"--the first floor felt more like an adventure/DJ party, the second floor had drinks and fun activities like a tattoo station, and the third floor was mostly food and drinks. It was thoughtful and easy to navigate. I went by myself and I'm not the most social person, so I didn't talk to a ton of other helpers, but I still enjoyed myself the whole time. Just being there, trying local spots, and seeing how much effort went into the event made me feel more connected to the community. I actually nominated myself for Yelp Elite before and got declined, but after this experience I feel motivated to keep trying, keep writing honest reviews, and stay involved. Great idea to open a children's museum to adults with vendors and activities for them to try out. Enjoyed hanging out with my sister exploring the museum, listening to the music (DJ was good just a bit loud), and liked the large variety of foods & drinks to sample. This event was so much fun! My wife and I attended and were so excited to explore the children's museum. There were so many cool things to play with and different vendors to try. This place should do these events more often because I would definitely come if this were a monthly 21+ event. read more
