I've had great service here from all staff members except for one.. So I simply ignore her and try to always use a different person for my queries. Meat is good quality and much cheaper than a lot of butchers, however I find the majority of their fruit and veg isn't worth it. Booze is at comparable prices to duty free and there's a great range. You need a membership to even get in the door, so ask around for someone to take you in if you want to have a look before joining.

A rapid fire review…read more This IGA at Ainslie is perhaps the most 'hipster' supermarket, I don't even want to classify this place as a supermarket, in Canberra. It's got everything. Like, everything. Fantastic grade wagyu beef? Check. Hot foods like roast pork -- like what!? Check. Cheese, cheese and more cheese? Check, check and check. Oh and don't forget small goods. Check. Ambiance to pull it all together like fantastic decor, wood and other 'warm' design? Check. It's all checked at Ainslie's IGA. Do yourself a favour and support this family owned IGA. They understand convenience, but they also understand something far deeper: the heart. You can see the amount of love they have put into this store and it's so incredibly refreshing. It's like your large walk-in pantry... but where you have to pay for the items to grab off the shelves.

You'll find condiments such as hoisin sauce and rice wine, as well as an assortment of rice, Asian snacks, frozen dumplings, and some kitchenware (e.g. rice cookers). It had a variety of frozen seafood and some red meats, but I couldn't ever find any chicken. The produce section was small, and the quality varied a bit on a week-to-week basis, but was most often of good quality. Prices are reasonable for a small store, and the service was excellent -- the cashiers were always very friendly. Overall, I really liked this store and I would recommend you check it out.

My granddaughter got a babychinno. Needless to say, she LOVED It. My latte' was very tasty too--not too sweet with mild Biscoff flavors. The tart was creamy and rich. I'd order it again. The server was lovely and remembered my grandaughter's name, which was particularly nice. We ate outside to enjoy the winter sunshine on their nice little patio. Service is friendly and they remember the regulars. I'd recommend the hamburger, it's quite decent! Bacon and egg muffin used to be exceptional, the muffins (or buns really) that they use now are very dry and not particularly nice, but the bacon and egg itself is oily and a great heart-starter to your workday. Music can often be turned up exceptionally loud! Great selection of the day's papers and whatnot to read while you wait. Recommended.
