There were also local artists, clothing, Ug boots, baby textiles, jewelry. Beautiful breads! Fresh squeezed orange juice. On the way out got a yummy donut filled with Nutella and jam!!!! What a treat! There is also another building to check out next to it and it had more artists and some pottery. As well as some baked goods as well! Was easy to move around with a stroller and not too crowded. Nice way to spend the afternoon and meet some friends.

I was told that my purchase was $79.33 but I was charged $80.76 (a surcharge of $1.43). I normally don't require a receipt when I can see how much I am charged but I asked for a receipt this time and was shocked when I got home to see the surcharge. This practice of not showing customers their full price of purchases is outrageous - please make sure you get the shop to show you the price you are being charged. I have been to Unique Meats many times but have not noticed this practice before. Generally I love these markets and go once a week for a weekly shop. Love the produce and service just not this time. Not going back to this store.

Service is friendly and they remember the regulars. I'd recommend the hamburger, it's quite decent! Bacon and egg muffin used to be exceptional, the muffins (or buns really) that they use now are very dry and not particularly nice, but the bacon and egg itself is oily and a great heart-starter to your workday. Set within the quiet suburb of Yarralumla comes a beautifully and carefully designed connoisseur…read moreshop. Notice the lack of "Bottle Shop" mentions, that's because this particular store was fundamentally rooted in both passion and product. It housed a huge library of wines, able to satisfy even perhaps the most particular wine lovers around, and doesn't shy away from stocking very sought after, yet uncommon, spirits such as The Farmer's Wife Gin. But perhaps the most attractive quality of this store was its personality. Having had a very brief conversation with one of its employees, I was pleasantly surprised that the owner regularly hosts local wine tasting nights. From what I could recall the owner would showcase wines from all over Australia, meaning a breadth of wineries were able to be featured. Having newly opened in this pleasant suburb of Yarralumla, the Cork & Glass has, in my mind, already become a small gem. It's character is defined, and its backed up by a huge library of wines, spirits and everything in between.
