The…read moreflea market was great and we scored a spare shore power line for $10, and a $1000 new dinghy davit for $50. This is a family run marina and it feels like it. Their dog Molly became instant friends with our two pups. They have bikes for free that we used check out downtown Oxford and they had a pool. Best of all was a beach for our lab to chase her ball with our little Boston Terrier chasing her. It was so good we wanted to stay another night - and no surprise they totally accommodated us (not a 'pay me now' but rather 'we'll settle up later' mentality) and also let us know that we could push off in the morning whatever time was convenient. Wow. Best kept secret on the bay. We will be back- with more boater friends too! Book us now for next year's flea market!!!

The marina is surrounded by 14 peaceful acres, of which 12 are a wildlife sanctuary. We overlook the mouth of the Tred Avon River with spectacular views across Chesapeake Bay. The enclosed eight-acre basin includes 80 slips accommodating boats up to 100 feet in length and 10-foot draft. This facility includes a 70-ton travel lift and 1.5 acres of dry storage area. Bachelor Pt. houses approx. 6,000 square feet of work space for maintenance, repowers, repairs and refinishing. They also have three Indoor Dry Storage buildings for winter storage. Campbell's Bachelor Pt. Yacht Co. is staffed with experienced refinishers, carpenters, and mechanics.
