I'm not saying that they were rude or anything, but at the same time the food just didn't hit the spot for me. Props to them though, but to me when it comes to food trucks I rather go with something more creative and I wouldn't mind paying for more for better food. The owner was very nice and that's absolutely not overlooked. However, their menu was sort of a wash in my opinion. They're "Spicy Balls" was just halved baby potatoes sprinkled with pepper. Not spicy at all. Mild at best. I think it should be renamed "peppered potatoes" or "butter pepper potatoes" or possibly "butter pepper pre-chips" something like that. When I was thinking of Spicy Balls with the description of being in "cajun spices and served hot, hot, hot!" I was thinking it would be that. Boy, did they sell it. I thought they over sold that too much. Let's keep going. Hot dogs weren't bad. Pretty simple. I ordered the chili cheese weenie because well, I'm a sucker for chili. Their hot dog wasn't too bad but at the same time I thought twice about the $5 for the hot dog. I still bought it to try it out, but it wasn't anything special for me. The hot dog had chili (sort of reminded me of a canned chili) and cheese. The end. Can you create it at home? Yes. Is that convenient when you want to drink beer and you find yourself hungry? No. In my mind, this food truck and owners are smart. Very smart. However, as far as my taste buds go, it's not bad. It's not good. It's "a-okay." I probably won't try this food truck again though.
