I'm Korean Is this a place that discriminates? **She has Black hair** She gave me no fork or knife, so I wiped my hands with a personal wet tissue and ate with my hands. When I looked at other white people's tables, I saw that they were using one fork and knife per person. I asked for a fork and knife once, and She brought me one fork and knife for one person. The knife was even stained, and when I asked for another fork twice, She said, "This is Spain, so eat with your hands." I was so shocked that I asked what the other table was like, and She got really angry and told me to eat in Spain the Spanish way before leaving. Why does she teached us while serving cutlery to other customers without saying a word? Because we are Asian? Or because we look young?

Ensaimadas. Don't miss them. But because I'm not a sweets for breakfast sort of guy, I also had a tasty cafe con leche with a savory pie. The coffee was good and the pie was nicely stuffed with lamb. The service felt a little rushed despite it being early with no queue. Their menu has multiple languages and "point" works well too.

Read a lot about this place and was expecting a bit or a tourist trap, but was pleasantly surprised. The ensaimada was wonderful. We ordered one plane, a second with custard, and a third with apricots. Surprisingly they were not overwhelmingly sweet, yet very light and tasty. The hot chocolate was also fantastic and not too sickly. What a wonderful place to eat up some Mallorca culture!

Delicious Pastries (5 stars) Our rental flat is right across the street. One of the oldest bakeries in Palma de Mallorca. Great selection of breakfast pastries. We bought 4: chocolate, apricot, cream, and another cream. Los quarto para llevar. They were still warm when we got back, and had then with coffee. They were super light and tasty, and creamy, and fruity, and the chocolate was delicious. The fact that it's directly across the street makes it so convenient, and all 4 cost 7.60 Euro. The mandatory photos are attached. Definitely worth returning.

The food was great to eat for starting the day off. The workers were friendly. There is lots of history about this place.

This location had the BEST bread we have ever tasted! It was flaky and just enough sweetness. We…read moredid a local tour and stopped there for a snack as a group. The server brought us plenty of bread and even took some with us. He was absolutely friendly and kind. Loved this place!

Trying an Ensaimada from Mallorca was one of my top things to do, and I heard this was the place to…read morego! Overall, my experience was okay, and I was a bit underwhelmed. When we first arrived, we had to wait in line for about 30 minutes, which is typical (no problem at all). We knew what we wanted and ordered right away. We of course got the Ensaimada, apricot ice cream, two iced coffees (it was so hot, so we got iced, (I know what you're thinking, silly Americans)). If I could go back, I would get an espresso or cappuccino because I think it would have paired much better with the pastries. I also asked the server if he had any personal favorites he would recommend, and he brought us a Cuarto (sponge cake). This was not very good in my opinion. It was basically flavorless and very eggy. The Ensaimada was delicious! More oily than I expected, but still very good. I also loved the apricot Ice Cream! As to the service, when we were seated, our server was very dismissive and inattentive. We did not have silverware at our table. No problem. Figured it would be given to us once we got our order. Nope. After we got our food, our server ran away and never came back to us, so I never had the chance to ask for any silverware. Had to eat everything by hand. Thankfully the ice cream came with a spoon. The inside is not huge, and we were seated in a small table tucked away in the corner. Maybe that's why our server basically forgot about us. One tip is that when you're finished and ready to leave, you go to the counter to pay. The server will not come back and hand you your check (at least that's how it worked for us). I could tell there were a lot of locals and Spanish-speaking patrons, so if you're American or don't speak Spanish, don't expect them to be the most friendly. I dont take that too personally, just want to let other people coming here to know what to expect. Overall, I would come here again and recommend it to anyone coming to visit Mallorca.

The cafe is located in an alley with only this spot on the entire small street, so it wasn't hard to find. Went inside and was greeted and seated right away. The cute decor was also captivating with the book shelves and wall decorations. They have a specials board that gets updated often and a menu on cute wooden boards. We ordered: - matcha latte: delicious and authentic to the matcha flavor. I added brown sugar to sweeten it a bit. - orange juice with ginger: my boyfriend likes ginger so he thought it was such an interesting mixture that he has not thought to put together before. The orange juice was fresh with pulp and the ginger warms you up as you drink them together. Definitely recommend their ginger juices if you like ginger. - fruit salad: probably one of the tastiest fruit salad I've ever had. There may be a glaze of sugar on top since all the fruits were sweet. Mine came with persimmons, banana, strawberries, and mango. I would order again because of the freshness and sweet fruits. - pulled pork sandwich: my boyfriend says it's the best he's had! The pork wasn't too dry or soaking in sauce - the balance was just right since the flavor was so tasty and rich. It came with a side of salad, which was also yummy. - avocado toast with poached eggs (additional pricing with eggs): the multigrain toast was toasted perfectly with the generous serving of avocado on top. Really enjoyed my poached eggs oozing all over each bite too :) Overall, our waitress and the owner was super friendly and accommodating. Helped us answer tourist questions and menu questions. Our total was 31.5€ which isn't bad for 5 dishes that filled us up for the rest of the day. Also, they have WiFi and accept credit cards :)
