I had to lug my luggage up some stairs to the elevator - or use a steep ramp. The checkin was smooth and the staff was very nice. As others have noted, be prepared for pre and post party noise, the rooms are designed for small groups so don't plan on a nap or early bedtime. Mornings were quiet, the breakfast was so so for Europe, just basic offerings, but in a nice area by the quiet pool. My major big negative was that I splurged on a party pool side table one day, and even though half of them were empty, I was stuck in a back corner looking at empty tables in front of me. And it wasn't cheap. My server was great, but I was made to feel too "un-cool" like they had to stick me in the back when pool side tables were open!

There are a few taxes, you must pay upfront but they return your deposit when leaving. The hotel consists of many young guests aging from 20 - 35. This is a party hotel, you will not be getting must rest at all. Music is constantly playing and there is always something fun to do. They have a pool party every Thursday too. I would highly recommend this hotel for a young group, looking to have a fun time.

It was my first time in Ibiza and I am so glad I found this hotel. It was a central area next to tons of restaurants, a pharmacy around the corner, bars everywhere, souvenir shops with great finds, and walking distance to the beach. The complimentary breakfast til 11 am was a god sent. After dancing the night away I'd wake up just in time to get to breakfast before 11am. A full spread of fresh fruits, cured meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants and bread, and they made crepes and customized omelets. Who doesn't like an egg station? Come on! And there was free champagne/prosecco with all these fresh juices for custom mimosas. I was in heaven! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat and you should too. They also were kid-friendly, they had an area, like a mini playground for the kiddos.

Thought I would be the first to inform any yelp travelers contemplating staying here. It seems like most of the places on the Platja d'Bossa side of the island are apartment-like hotels. This one is particular is nice because it doesn't have music blaring all night. Although you do come to Ibiza to party all night, you want to get some sleep too. The room has a kitchenette with a double burner, mini fridge and kitchen utilities. There is a small balcony for each room which is great for smoking and hanging your beach towels on to dry. This apartment is right on the beach so you can walk right down to the water They also have a pool and restaurant. There is a grocery store next door so you can prepare your own breakfasts or snacks. Food on the island is expensive and it also isn't very good. The beds are not that comfortable but I guess you don't really come here to sleep. The couch in the living room area is also a pull-out so a group of four can stay in a one bedroom. The water in the shower feels salty. I'm guessing it comes straight from the ocean. I don't know if all hotels in the area are like this but it was definitely off putting. To conserve energy, these apartments require you to put your hotel key into a electrical slot to turn on the power in your room. I've never encountered this at any place I've stayed at before so make sure the front desk informs you of this before entering your room to save yourself some sweat and trouble. These apartments are walking distance to Space and to the shuttles to the other clubs around the island. For the price, I would definitely stay here again. I can't really complain because just being in Ibiza is so much fun. You're not really going to Ibiza to stay into your hotel the time and the Apartamentos Sal Rossa do the job of providing a decently priced, nice, and safe place to come back to after enjoying the beach and the clubs.

It is only about 2 miles away from the Airport as well. The building is a bit old but each rooms are pretty spacious and it comes with a fully equipped mini kitchen. I say it's fairly clean. There is a pretty nice pool but we didn't really use it because we rather go to the beach then use the hotel pool. It kinda sucks that we have to get our own handsoap and kitchen soap if you wanted to do any cooking there. You can only turn on the TV if you pay 20 EUROS at the front desk!! They have a Laundry room downstairs but you need to go to a market that is about 5 meters away from the apt. and it's 5EUROS for the washer and another 5 euros for the dryer that never really dried my clothes... The restaurant downstairs was pretty reasonable in price, but it took then more than an hour to bring our food out... Altho there seems to be more cons then pros but overall, this apartment was very convenient and it served its purpose. Even thought Laundry was expensive and the dryer didn't work too well, I was able to wash all my dirty clothes from being out of the country for a week and the location was perfect. I wouldn't mind staying here again if I ever come back to Ibiza :)

The Hotel has beautiful gardens that are being well taken care off. Personel is very friendly. There is a small private beach with lovely view at the bay and a small coffee bar with two terrasses. It seems that the hotel has expanded it's number of rooms. The two pools (kids and 18+) haven't got enough sunbathing chairs so guests are getting up early to claim some chairs. At 8:00 am all chairs are gone. Food and drinks are free with the all inclusive concept. Breakfast, lunch and diner are wonderfull with lots of things to choose from and chefs cutting meat or preparing other recipes at the counters. Portinatx is a wonderful hotel for couples and families with children. I've seen English, Dutch, German, French visitors. Internet is poor - the free wifi at the entrance as well as the paid version (18 euro pweek pgadget)
