The numbers are mind boggling. The record of safe and reliable service is unbelievable and those that fill this space with negative opinions really have no idea of the complexity that is the USPS. I had never heard of Penguin Pick-Up until my package delivered by Canpar was dropped off there…read moreafter they attempted to deliver it to my home and I wasn't there twice. At first, I was afraid that I had to go pick it up at the Canpar depot which is super far from my house, but was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to travel far after all. They dropped it off at Penguin Pick-Up. When I arrived, the staff were super nice, found my package quickly, and even carried it to my car for me (!) How nice is that? (It was a big and bulky package so I definitely appreciated the help). I asked them what they are all about because like I said, I had never heard of this business, and they said that they are a drop off and pick up business. So you can buy stuff online and have the Penguin Pick-Up office as your delivery address, and then you can pick up your package at your convenience. Also places like FedEx and Canpar drop packages there for customers who live nearby so they don't have to drive to the depot which is farther away. Cool! So you don't pay anything for their services, it's the delivery company that pays them. Very interesting... Anyway, the business idea sounds cool, and they were really nice to me, so I'm a fan. 5 stars ;)

Not busy at all on a Sat. Score! I had my pup come in and…read moreout with me.. I just needed to shoot a small packet to the US. The attendant could not have been nicer. Helped me with the envelope choice. The address labels. Even gave me stickers to primp up the outer envelope even nicer. Cheers too, to the people of Stittsville who loved on my puppy and gave him all the love and pets wanting to know his story as he just laid on the cool floor loving his life. I know not everyone loves dogs but he needed to be with me in that moment for this errand and I'm grateful for the friendly, smooth transaction. Price was perfectly reasonable and I just trust CP, even in these crazy uncertain strike periods.

It's really not much bigger in space than you would find in the drug stores around the city, where they occasionally have a postal outlet. They offer the standard Canada Post Office services, like stamps, coins, and mailing letters and picking up packages. There's also PO boxes available here. What I'm enjoying right now are the colourful holiday stamps offered by Canada Post! We certainly do not get as much mail as we used to, now that the internet and emails have taken over. What we get most often are bills :-( Until this time of year, of course! I hope to get a few holiday cards, and I have sent a few - with those colourful stamps! These are essential during COVID, to cheer people up. The service here has been adequate. They've put plexiglass sheets in front of the cash, to protect the staff as well as clients. Note they are only open half days on Saturdays, in the morning.
