While all appeared great while cutting the deal, as it turns out this place sold us a vehicle that had tires 10 years old and were worn to the point they had to be replaced ... since it was winter we had winter tires placed on the vehicle and it wasn't until we tried to get the original tires put back on that we found out it would be illegal for the place to place them back on the rims. read more

For the last two weeks or so my wife and I have been looking for a new suv. We were trading in our 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. It started to rust and need I say more. We chose a SUV because we have three dogs and need some features a regular car just didn't have. I can't count the number of vehicles I sat in and if all was fine test drive. YIKES! The seats in virtually everyone of them was like sitting on a carved piece of granite. The sales people were not up to par with their knowledge of the vehicles they were selling either. How can you hope to sell a car to me when I know more about it than you do. The whole process was maddening to put it politely. Enter the Canadian Auto Mall and CRAIG. FINALLY we found a vehicle that suited our needs and was actually COMFORTABLE. Wow! It turns out it was a year old but with the low mileage that was a non issue. Craig knew everything there was to know and his personality made the whole experience fun. IMAGINE THAT...... "FUN"..... We ended up purchasing the vehicle and the whole process went smoothly. We picked it up Friday afternoon and we have been smiling since then. I would also like to give a shout out to whoever detailed it. A job well done. These guys are as crooked as they come and let me tell you in detail why ALL of them (Pete, Richard, and the Indian owner) are scammers. I purchased a Subaru from them with the condition that the brakes were done prior to pick up. They had less than 60% pad life which would not pass any safety certification inspection. Richard assured me that he would have the garage install fresh pads and rotors. Richard also verified with his colleague Pete that the floor mats (which were not included upon my test drive) would be included and cleaned along with the entire car. On the day I am asked to pick up the car, I notice that the car is filthy inside and out, there are no floor mats, the brakes aren't done. I'm a little aggravated by this point. Sure enough, the clowns Richard and Pete are there and should be damn well embarrassed at their incompetency. I asked if the manager was around because at his point I'm either getting dollars off the purchase or tires thrown in for this bull shi*. Sure enough the owner is in. I bring him to see the car and look at the unfit brakes. He says the technician did inspect them and that they do legally pass the safety inspection but admitted they would last a season at most. (who sells a used $16,000 impreza base model and wont replace the worn pads and rotors!?!?) How cheap! As for the mats, I was lied to because there were no mats. Pete says they "got misplaced" I waited an hour for the car to be cleaned and was given a crappy $250 refund for the lack of detail and timeliness. This was in the fall so a few weeks after owning the car I installed winter tires I had to purchase . Only after removing the stock wheels/tires did I notice that one tire was from another brand with a totally different tread pattern! Not only does this fail a safety inspection but it affects the way Subaru AWD performs, its hard on the differentials, affects fuel economy and road traction = safety compromised! I show up and Richard is there. I ask why I was sold a car with mismatched tires and he says "we don't look at each tire under a magnifying glass, what do you expect? A discount? that's not happening..." I have to hesitate knocking this greasy as* hole out cold for a response like that. THEY DONT PERFORM SAFETY INSPECTIONS or even know what they're purchasing from auctions. Car fax reports are bogus, this car has been in an accident because I brought it to Subaru and they confirmed front end parts are not original. Richard and the owner said they were 100% sure the car was accident free. These guys are crooks, I hope the car lasts 5 years... I will never return and I will tell EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY. read more

This is a pretty decent car dealership, they have a surprisingly good selection of cars considering the size of the property they are located on, and it is very easy to get into if your are heading west from Stittsville. The place is clean and professional looking and the salesman (Ott) I dealt with was extremely patient and took his time showing me every car I wanted to without pressure, even though it was close to closing time. The cars they sell are mostly newer stuff but they have a wide range of stuff, even cars for a lower budget. I felt I got a good price on the car I bought but I also felt screwed a bit on my trade-in (next time I'd sell my old car privately), likely a similar experience at any car dealer. The car I bought has had no problems (not a squeak or rattle even) since I got it 3 months ago. I'd buy from them again. read more
