The selling experience was great...Yudy Abreu was fantastic.. My complaint has nothing to do with her. My complaint is against the Service Manager, John. I got the Tiguan back in September, and in March it got a flat tire, I call the Service department, he said he was going to order it, and he never did... On top of that, after changing the tires from Winter to Summer, the tire sensor never turned off and as of today it's still on. The slider of the sunroof didn't want to work one day and we had to leave the sunroof open, the infotainment screen not always turn on...And it's May 14, and I haven't received any calls from them. I called the VW Service Line, they advised to call another dealer in town, I called the Hunt Club location, no one answers, the appointment scheduler doesn't work... So, all this to say, if you buy a VW, be prepared to have hard times. read more

To whom this may concern or even care... I purchased my 2024 Tiguan back in March and have had nothing but issues with the vehicle ever since. I always wanted to own a VW for as long a I can remember. They are built well, actually over built and engineered "supposedly" and never gave it a second thought that this vehicle would be unsafe for my family to tour in. Couldn't have been more wrong. I realize this is just one bad review out of hundreds or maybe thousands of positive good reviews out there but sometimes all it takes is just one. but please don't let my review deter you away from purchasing a VW. This has simply been my experience with "Taylor Creek VW" and the vehicle itself. 1) The sales person was a very polite person indeed, however at times made me very uncomfortable. Pushing things on me that I did not want, telling me that you don't want this your better off with that. Believe it or not I wanted an Atlas and I was told it was probably to expensive for me. Now at this time the sales person wasn't even aware of my budget, so who are they to dictate to me what I can and can not afford!!! After the purchase and pick up of the Tiguan, it wasn't long after that things started to happen. And I also realized there was a fare bit of information that was not passed down to me about the Tiguan that I had to learn for myself, simple basic information that any sales person should immediately tell you. 2) I have had nothing but computer and electrical problems with the Tiguan. The driver assist will come on whenever it wants and actually slows me down almost causing accidents, the info screen has a mind of it's own, it will turn on and off and change settings and radio stations all on it's own. I went to lower the back seat's using the pull handle's in the boot and the left handle broke right of in my hand and the wire was pulled out. The sales person never told me when they showed me this feature that the pull straps on the side of the back seats themselves actually work to put the seats down, they told me that the pull straps on the side of the seats were to put the back seats in there upright position again. And now believe it or not the tranny is slipping, this started the other day. must tell them this today. which brings me to number 3. 3) Service Department. I have never seen such a group of unhappy, unfeeling and uncaring people before. Stone cold look on there faces with no expressions what so ever. Makes it really uncomfortable. But then again I'm not the happiest person in the world either, so tit for tat I guess. I know the part for my info screen is there they told me and they left a message asking me to call them back to book an appointment to get the Tiguan in which I did. That was three weeks ago and No one has returned my call. Now remember when I wrote about the back seat latch breaking off in my hand. Well I got so pissed off I drove down to the service department at Taylor Creek VW and expressed in my anger out loud just how frustrated I really was. Now I'm assuming it was the head of the service department that came to speak with me and my son who was with me at the time to diffuse what I was escalating (yes I said what I was escalating / I'm on permanent disability due to severe mental health) The gentleman speaking with my son and I helped I would say the best he could but made me think that what I was telling him was no fault of others but my own. I had even explained to him about the vehicles computer system turning on the ACC while I was on the highway and slowing me down from 105kmh to 79kmh with other vehicles behind me almost becoming a permanent fixture to back end. At that time it had only happened the one time, it has now happened a few more times since then. I had purchased a very good extended warranty which includes a rental vehicle. I figured that the service advisors would have pulled the vehicle off the road and provided me with a rental until such time the computer issue and all were figured out??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Never again will I purchase a WV and will most likely take a serious hit on the negative equity scale when I trade it for a Ford. And as for the staff at VW who read these reviews please do not respond to me with your usual "I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused but our staff isn't to blame etc, etc, etc" Take ownership with the fact you all sold me a lemon and for the blatant disregard for the SAFETY OF MY FAMILY AND THE OTHE MOTORISTS!!!!!!!!!!!! This Tiguan should be a TOTAL RECALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as far as I'm concerned. Thank you for taking the time to read the world's longest YELP review. Sure, you can get your tires or oil changed elsewhere for a slightly better rate. But would you bring your pet pooch to an uncertified vet? No! If you love your car like I love my GTI you'll understand. Lubed doors & hinges, cleaned hubs and wheels & extra wax on the bolts please! The sparkle & shine was complete in one hour. Customer Service had the invoices lined up with roster precision. I felt compelled to smoke a cigarette but we all know it's bad for you. read more

if zero stars was an option I would of left that. Here is a letter I sent to the dealership. I sent a letter to there VP and General manager. I received a response 6 days later saying they will look into it and get back to me. it has now been 2 weeks. On Wednesday August 14, 2019 something let go in the exhaust system. I live in Orleans but purchased the vehicle in 2013 (before you were open) and always had it serviced at Myers VW in Kanata. Because I really didn't want to drive out to Kanata anymore I decided to bring the vehicle to your shop that evening. On Thursday I waited for a call. By 9:30 in the morning I decided to call to make sure your dealership. Unfortunately no one answered my calls, it always went to voicemail. I left a voicemail and waited. By 10:30 I tried again and kept getting Frank's voicemail or a general voicemail that said "Don't leave a message. No one checks this mailbox, please call again." The service adviser called me eventually and informed me that the car was looked at and that the exhaust had broken at the downpipe. The replacement part was $2800 plus tax and installation because it included the catalytic converter. I asked whether it should be under warranty? He informed me that they had already submitted the claim to my extended warranty and if they said no they would try with VW. A short while later I was informed the claim was denied on the extended warranty. I asked about the VW warranty and was informed they would not cover it and my options were to pay approx. $3500 or bring it somewhere else. I asked again why it wasn't covered under the emissions warranty and was told that your Master Technician said the only time they cover it is if there is a specific OBD/II code. (I later found out your dealership took him at his word and didn't bother taking 5 minutes to submit the request to VW). I was given the option to pay for the repair or pick up my vehicle and try finding an aftermarket exhaust fix. Assuming your employees had submitted the claim to VW and was denied I escalated the problem to VW Canada Thursday afternoon and requested they help me out. They offered to look into creating a goodwill claim for me and they would get back to me in 24-48hrs. Monday morning I called VW Canada back and was told they were going to do something for me and that they were waiting for a form to be filled out by your dealership. I called (I mean I tried calling again as it seems no one is ever available to answer the phone and you just get the general voice mail) and eventually talked to the service adviser again. I asked if they had the form requested and he informed me that only the Service Manager (who is on week two of his vacation) was authorized to fill it in. I asked if there was anyone else and Alain talked to Marcel about it and they decided that they would not do it. At the same time I was told that since it was my first time there and that I had no history the Service Manager would likely not fill the form anyway. Speaking to VW Canada they informed my that anyone can fill the form in (so I guess this is a Taylor Creek policy that only the Service Manager can do it) and that VW would likely cover 100% of the cost. Not wanting to wait another week and having been told he likely wouldn't want to help me I went and picked up my car and drove it to Myers who would fill in the goodwill form. When I spoke to the service adviser while picking up my vehicle I mentioned how I couldn't believe VW wouldn't cover the Catalytic pipe, he said they never submitted the claim to VW because your Master Technician said it wasn't covered. That evening I received a call from her (Myers VW) informing me that the part was covered under warranty and it was ordered. The level of indifference I received at your dealership is unbelievable, if I wasn't a details oriented person or mechanically adept I likely would of paid the $3500 to fix my car assuming everyone at the dealership is looking out for my best interest and there is no other option. read more

This place has the WORST SERVICE I've ever experienced at an auto dealership. I inquire about a pre owned TDI Passat for sale that they listed online. They call me back saying yes, its for sale and I said ok, and asked when I could come see it and take it for a test drive. They told me in 2 days time I could arrange to see it, on a week night. I live over an hour away from this dealership and explained I would have to fight after work traffic to be there so we agreed on 6:00pm. That day, I get a call at about 3 pm just to confirm that I am interested and that I was coming to see it still. I confirmed that I am 100% interested in this particular, pre owned model and that I would be there for 6 sharp. I show up, I walk in and the front desk girl doesn't look up to greet me, doesn't say a word. She was holding a coffee and staring at her computer. I asked to see Randy, the salesman I spoke to on the phone to confirm my appointment. She looked annoyed and pages Randy. He comes over and says the car is just out back - ready for me to inspect/test drive after being detailed. We go out to the car and I open the drivers door and suddenly another salesperson, a lady shouts at me , "This car is sold !" I look at Randy with confusion and he says , "oh no, I guess this one sold...." He seemed laid back about this and then proceeds to ask me if I like the 2017 golfs with gasoline engines, cause they're apparently "cheap right now" !?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WTF kind of salespeople does this place hire? I told him I didn't come here to shop around. I came for a specific model at the advertised price. And I WANTED A DIESEL. He then says hes got another Passat TDI so we take a look and he asks what I think. I said THIS IS A JETTA!? This isn't a Passat! He had to walk around to the trunk of the car and squint at the JETTA badge on the trunk. I started laughing, like is this place for real!? I got in my car and left. SH!T Service, idiot staff, I should have been given $60 for the gas I wasted coming there. Would never EVER trust this place. They wasted my time, my money, they ruined my experience, and proved to be a let down with untrustworthy, unknowledgeable staff. read more
