Ok seriously, this guy was watching too much TV or Mission Impossible movies. I get it, they want video activity. But breaking the law? C'mon bud. My girlfriends family member died. I had to help with all the emotional and mentally draining tasks when people die. After advising supervisor of same, I received a termination letter. This is something I've forwarded to multiple colleagues in the industry. Fire someone because someone dies? WOW!!! SUMMARY: These guys are under so much pressure just to get a 2 second video clip of the claimant farting in public. I don't understand why you can't find a balance between being a decent human and running a successful PI firm. He was very aggressive and short with me. He then gave me some information of services they could provide and said it would be 5,000K retainer, to which i said ok to the information but explained to him that I felt he was very combative and short with me and based on his attitude I didn't think I would be hiring them. He was then rude, curt and berated me for 'not knowing what I wanted'. I explained no I did not know what I wanted as I have never had experience with a PI firm before and was inquiring what services were even possible. He basically hung up on me after saying 'good luck'. I then called back to Ana to the number they called me from and explain it was a terrible experience and could I speak to someone else or a supervisor as I was just berated when I called them in a vulnerable position to obtain information on services. My situation was that I was scammed, Not for a lot of money, but regardless I took it personally this time, and I felt like I had enough information to somewhat locate this person and than decide what to do from there.
