We had so much fun!! Our guide, Quynton was FANTASTIC! He was super fun and told us great fun facts as well as steered us well with amazing instructions. And as someone who is a wimp with the cold they provided fantastic wetsuits and neoprene boots, and had a system after for keeping us from getting too cold. If you're considering white water rafting in Banff area, I would say this is the way to go! read more

We had an AMAZING experience! Zac was the best guide ever! He was knowledgable, patient and funny! He made us all feel comfortable and did a great job teaching us how to paddle and be safe during our trip. He shared both informative stories about the river and surrounding area, as well as amusing stories. The weather wasn't stellar on the day we went, so we were a bit hesitant about doing the trip, but out wetsuits kept us very comfortable and we were going to get wet on the river anyhow, so what's a little rain? Even with less than perfect weather , we had a GREAT time. If you're hesitant at all, don't be. Just book it - you won't be sorry! read more

With so many amazing things to do in Banff this is definitely a don't miss outing! We purchased the class 2 rafting trip, some rapids, but also some scenic, smooth floating. This was perfect for our first ever rafting outing. We were picked up on the main street in Canmore, right down the road from our Airbnb, and loaded onto a van to head to our gear and another group. When we arrived we were provided a wet suit, helmet, and a short lesson on what to do in case of emergency. Next, it was off to the river. We were put into a group with 8 of our new friends and assigned to Dan, our guide. He was extremely personable and shared funny stories and knowledge of the area. He lead some fun games on the raft and made it extra fun for everyone. We went through a few class 2 rapids, mostly at the beginning, and through a kayak racing section. After that it was mostly smooth sailing. The scenery was beautiful and perfect to just sit, relax, and take it all in. Was a great morning! Afterwards they provided water and hot chocolate, and took us back to our car. Everything was well-thought-out, safe, and designed for ultimate enjoyment. Easy 5 stars and would definitely recommend. read more

This review is for the Kanasaskis class 2 rafting trip. I purchased a Groupon and had a very enjoyable rafting experience. I was a bit nervous going in, as I'd never been whitewater rafting before, but the guides were knowledgeable and put everyone at ease. The pick up from Canmore went smoothly- and the drive on an old school yellow school bus to Kanasaskis country was about 20 min. Instructions on gear and safety were clear, concise. Even though there was quite a large group (about 50 or so folks split into 4 groups), the gear fitting and distribution went smoothly and quickly. Once on the river, our guide Teddy was great about giving directions and guiding us through some test runs. The beginning of the tour was more exciting- there were quite a few class 2 rapids, some splashes but nothing too crazy. I had some initial fears of being thrown into the water, but before long, I quickly realized this wasnt one of those rides. After about 30 to 45 min of small rapids, we more or less floated with occasional paddling the rest of the way. The route (approx 5 miles) is gorgeous. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. If you're looking for a more low key ride (especially if you're a newb like me), definitely recommend this as a great intro to whitewater rafting. For those who are more experienced, may want to check out one of the class 3 or 4 trip. read more

My friend and I booked a trip on the Class 2 rapids, and it was incredible! Both of us had never been white water rafting before and it was one of our favorite activities from our time in Canmore/Banff. Our guide, Norris, was personable, funny, and had lots of awesome stories to share as we rafted down the river. Definitely recommended! read more

The start to our Horseshoe canyon rafting trip was delayed by weather and high river levels, no issues there. The rafting was fun and our guide made us feel safe was very knowledgeable, and friendly enough. Because the trip was delayed, we were not given the opportunity to do the cliff diving that was supposed to be part of the excursion, big disappointment. This also made the trip quicker than expected, so not the length of time that was sold to us initially, also disappointing. To compensate us for the delays, the company offered us free pictures of our trip. Great! Until we received the pictures and found blurry pictures of rafts taken from so far away, we could barely make out which rafts we were on, even the group shot, taken on land after we rafted was taken before some of our group were not even ready or looking at the camera... the photographer clearly was more concerned with packing up and returning to the loading zone to pick up the afternoon tour group booking, than he was at taking a good shot of our family. We had a good experience on the river, but we realized that the large group bookings are more important, and receive better service than our small group (11 ppl). Probably would not book with this company again... and most definitely would never PAY for the picture package. read more
