This is the new Canadian Tire store in Waterloo on the western edge of town. This is one of the…read morelarger stores and the selection is better here than at the other smaller local stores like the one on Victoria Street in Kitchener. This means that when the big sales are on, I often come out of my way to get to this store, as it is almost always the last to run out of the deeply discounted items. However, its location far away from the main commercial areas of Uptown Waterloo and Downtown Kitchener means that it is somewhat inconvenient to travel there.

This location has always been so clean and tidy from inside and have more and better pantry items than other Walmart locations. Now during pandemic we have been using their curbside pickup and it has been an amazing experience and no issues what so ever. If they did miss some product or something is in bad condition, you just contact their customer service and they assist you in finding a solution every time. It's a one stop shop, where you can get everything. We have another Walmart location close to our house, however we prefer going to this one, it's much better and worth it!! Thanks

The cashier tucked them down at the end, and proceeded to stack my items on the tray. No bagging. She spent more time trying to balance the items on the tray than she would have setting them directly into the bags. Then she stood with her arms at her sides, waiting for me to bag. This Walmart has a complete pharmacy, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, and always take time time to answer my questions. Every day low prices on items my family uses means I don't have to spend a lot of time looking anywhere else. There is also a grocery and produce department inside the store, and I have never been disappointed with quality of the product or the prices here. They do price match as well, if you bring the competitor's flyer. I wish we had a Walmart in town when I was going to University here in Waterloo (we had to take a long trip down to Fairview Park Mall back in the day... Now students and local residents alike can take advantage of a local Walmart!

You need to grab a strong blue IKEA bag when you first walk in. I recommend not wearing your coat in the store, because there are so many folks in there that the body heat will make you feel like you are having hot flashes! Today was my second time there. I got many 1L boxes of almond beverage both times. The beverage is unsweetened and goes for $1.50 each, which is dirt cheap! Today, I got two pairs of jeans. They go for $10 a pair. There was a 25% discount on clothes today, so it was ridiculous to get a decent pair for $7.50 each. I also got a rain jacket going for $25 before the discount. Apparently I was supposed to have opened it and checked if it had all the parts before leaving the store, but the cashier never told me that. Be careful if you speak with Kailey as well. She's very condescending when she speaks. The other girl that tried to help was quite nice though. I won't come here again. I'd rather pay a little more and deal with better customer service and ensure a product that works.
