I never thrifted before and when i stumbled upon this store on my instagram story feed, they caught my attention. I instantly knew i wanted try this place out. I came here couple of times with my family during the pandemic. The experience was and is positive. I actually went by today to look for new wide set pants and a place to try on since i like to visually see myself with the clothing item. Surprisingly they have lots that aligned to my style. Me and my sister got a couple of pairs we bought and are happy with it. Everyone was so nice! I didn't know that i can apply for customer account under Plato's. The cashier explained i can get points everytime i visit. The only thing i knew was that you can take pictures and post, tagging their user on instagram to get 10% haha! So i applied to get points, and got extra for not getting a plastic bag for the pants we bought. That was great. And honestly, this is the only place i shop for clothes now since it's budget-friendly, close to where i live. The pants i got was under $20 which is perfect! Can't wait to come back againnn!

I reached out to the store to let them know and that I wanted to return as the bag was fake , and after some hesitancy/back and forth the owner returned. It was definitely resold. I decided to give this location another chance - occasionally as a buyer (of select items) and seller. I dropped off a basket that included a mini LV speedy. I received a call from Chelsea around noon that day with a quote for my bag. I accepted the quote and was told it would be authenticated after the call. And the authentication and would only take about 20 minutes - I return to the store later that day around 530 and was brought my bag and was showing the entrupy app on the store cell phone. The app is full of pictures of my bag and the authentication had not been completed. I know this stuff takes time so no problem. I was told the store will call me in the morning to arrange payment. I had not heard from the store well after opening so I messaged. I was informed the bag was damaged and they would be passing on the item. I inquired about the bags damage as I had drop the bag off and working condition and had seen the bag the night before still in that condition. I was told the zipper was broken. When I had seen the bag at 5:30 the night before the zipper was fine. I asked why if the zipper was "broken" I received a quote- and why authentication process had been started. I was told the authentication had not been started yet. Funny ... since I saw the app loaded with pictures of my bag .... And was told a quote before authenticating. Once caught in a lie, the store backtracked and still denied breaking the zipper. The zipper was fine at drop off and fine when I received a quote and authentication had started.... If ownership was taken I would have most likely not been so mad/annoyed with this situation. But instead was met with rude Instagram responses. Truly hilarious... avoid this place. The high staff turnover should be enough of a tell tale sign. Learn from my mistake/experience and avoid. Burlington and Mississauga is so worth the drive.

Last month, when I was briefly in Oakville for a couple of days, I needed a Shoppers Drug Mart…read more(SDM). I did a search and ended up going to the one at Oakville Place. It was the closest one to me. I normally like standalone drugstores. I don't spend as much. Get me visiting a mall and I'm bound to shop. It happened here, but I contained my shopping madness down to this mall wing with SDM and the food court above it. It's a decent mall. It has Pearl, a Chinese dim sum restaurant that I like. I typically go to the one at Bayview Village. It was nice to see one west of Mississauga. The dining room looked gorgeous as I walked over to the mall entrance. The SDM is steps away from the main mall entrance, which I appreciated. I got what I was looking for and more. This same wing of the mall had Claire's. I ended up getting Squishmallows and a Grogu bucket hat. It was nice finally visiting the LL Bean store. I love the products, but there are rarely any sales that make me want to buy anything. The mall ceilings are nice. There's lot of glass that allow natural light to shine in. It's cool and cheerful. There are also various decor accents, such as triangular lighting and dangling spiral installations, that are pleasing to the eye as you walk around. The food court is cool. There was a bee installation where you could read up on how wonderful bees are. I didn't end up dining at the food court. However, there was a sushi clearance at the end of the night at Sushi Mac. I couldn't resist and bought some sushi to bring back to my hotel room. There is a Kernels-Yogen Fruz store on the main floor. I dropped by to get popcorn at Kernels before leaving the mall. Popcorn is my weakness. I got two bags to feed by popcorn habit. I was only in one wing of this mall and enjoyed being there. I would likely be broke if I had walked the entire mall that evening. A young girl, who had just started that day, was ridiculed because she moved her mouth in a way that apparently bothered Lisa and then was asked why she was sniffing so much. In fact, this young girl has a hearing problem and the occasional sniff clears her ears. She was admonished, by dear old Lisa, that she was steaming clothes too slowly (something she has never done before as this was her first day!) and was so intimidated by this bully that she ended up burning her finger quite badly. This just continued throughout the day. Apparently, if you work here you are not allowed to leave for lunch! You must go and get your lunch, or bring it to work, but you MUST eat it in the back room of the store. A BREAK Lisa is for staff to get away. After hearing about how ill treated this girl was, I advised her to simply not show up the next day. I would never tell someone to do that. However, no one should be treated with so little respect. I have no doubt that the staff turnover at OPUS is high. I personally will never shop there again.
