The staff is kind and welcoming and they are constantly putting out new stuff. I always walk away with something. I try to stop by whenever I'm in town. Definitely check it out and support this great organization. For $2 you can purchase a reusable bag, and every time you bring your bag back to be used you can save 10% off your purchase. They are also known to have events where you can stuff your bag full for only a small charge.

This store is your standard Walmart store located on the right just as you enter Vegreville from…read moreHighway 16 from the west. The parking lot is large with a few other stores nearby. Just like all Walmarts, there is a McDonald's inside. The store has a deli and bakery section. The fruit and vegetable section looks very clean. Aisles are wide so two carts can pass each other. The prices are great and the shelves are well stocked. The craft section always has clearance items for cheap prices. You can get everything here from groceries, health and beauty, housewares, pharmacy needs, electronics, automotive supplies, and a seasonal section. I have been here several times in the evening and noticed it's not very busy. The cashiers are friendly and very efficient. Be sure to bring your own recycling bags as Walmart now charges 5 cents per bag up to 10 bags.

They have a ton of craft and scrapbooking stuff and if you're a crafter it's THE place to go in the area. They also have a fair bit of baking and cake decorating stuff considering it's a " dollar" store. They also have a water dispenser to fill your big blue jugs which is convenient if you use a water cooler at home and don't know where you can fill your bottles. They also carry fireworks! I love stopping by here and always look forward to the new craft finds.
