They also have a water dispenser to fill your big blue jugs which is convenient if you use a water cooler at home and don't know where you can fill your bottles. They also carry fireworks! When we were ready to make our selection, there was no one at the paint desk. We pressed the call button, waited, and no one came. Eventually we found another employee who informed us that the staff member responsible for the paint desk was on break. That was completely understandable, and we were more than willing to wait. What wasn't acceptable was what happened next. Ken, who appeared to be a supervisor or manager, asked the employee on break to cut it short and return to the desk. The young man, Amay (apologies if the spelling is incorrect), came right away and was extremely polite and apologetic. We even told him we were sorry he had to interrupt his break. A mistake happened while mixing the paint colour, and Amay immediately acknowledged it and called for assistance. When Ken arrived, instead of offering support, he was dismissive and rude toward Amay. While Amay tried to explain that he wasn't sure what had gone wrong, Ken cut him off with, "I don't know how to use this machine," in a tone that was unprofessional and unhelpful. The issue wasn't the mistake -- those happen. The issue was the lack of support for an employee who was clearly trying his best, and the overall lack of customer service from management. Amay handled the situation with far more professionalism than his supervisor did. This experience left a very negative impression, and it's disappointing to see a staff member treated that way in front of customers. I do want to give a 5-star review to Amay, had it not been for him we would have walked away from the purchase.

One of the ladies from cosmetics offered to take people in line. She took the next lady who was in line and then I left to join them. I have never heard of redemption days and this lovely cosmetics lady told me all about it and wrote it on my receipt. She even offered to put whatever item I wanted on hold for me if I needed. Now that's some great customer service. This is by far one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had.

I've never experienced worse customer service in my life…read more I spent 15 minutes waiting in line at customer service to buy a fishing rod and license. When we got to the front they told us we would have to step aside and wait for someone else to get us our license. After waiting another ten minutes I went back to the fishing department to ask how much longer it would be. The employee was extremely rude when he told me it would be a while because he was busy. I would have asked for a manager but I didn't feel like spending another hour in the store.

We stopped by the Duggan Mall today to shop at the Thursday Farmers Market…read more We ended up with some small purchases from local vendors as well as another round of items from the Hallmark store we'd shopped at earlier in the week. This mall is smallish and like many smaller indoor malls in North America is in decline. That said, the movie theater and other stores here all had shoppers in them. The vision and hearing care clinics were busy. The 2 restaurants each had a few customers. I think events like the Farmers Market being held here is a good thing for this mall.

This is a pretty standard Walmart. When I visited most recently it felt like much of it had…read morerecently been reorganized but it seemed like there was a LOT of selection available for purchase. It is definitely a bigger Walmart location than some of the others that I have visited! We were able to find pretty much everything we were seeking relatively quickly and were able to checkout via the self-scan area pretty quickly as well. There is ample parking and we were there at a non-peak time so it wasn't too busy.
