Picked up some smoked fish (they have cold smoked salmon, salmon belly, trout and more!), sausages, honey and lots of baked treats on their deli counter.. we picked up some cream filled walnut shaped cookies called Oreshki and a slab of their Russian Napolean cake! The place is jam packed to the rafters with yummy foods, so be careful walking around with little kids.

Prices are decent and there's odd flavours for munchies like honey butter bugles, pizza crackers, prawn chips...odd but also can't get enough of after eating. They also have a little selection of baked goods and variety on things like matcha teas or corn tea. It's given me a lot of ideas for making ramens and hot pots with their heat & eat add-ons in the freezer section. Some fruit produce can also be bought in boxed bulk like apples or jeju oranges... honestly not a bad price for the size & quality of what you're getting. We settled on the Halloween one, because my kid loves all things Halloween; for $15 it did feel a little overpriced but I don't know where they get all their stuff from and cost of everything has gone up so maybe I'm a bit biased. Coolers and coolers full of unique soda's. We picked 2 up and their flavors were definitely on par with a craft soda. I even saw Bob Ross on one can. Along with a Duff can! My friend recommended the Sailor Moon ones too and said the one she got was pretty tasty! We also picked up a can of the Spicy Lobster pringles, which were pretty tasty, but again quite a price to try.

It's a BC-based Indian grocery chain that has some vegetables, fruits and other produce catered towards the Indian households, as well as a big selection of spices, herbs, lentils, pickles and canned items. They also have in-store prepared snacks, sweets and condiments that are sold by weight. It's everything that a grocery store in India would have. Fruiticana is my second or third choice for Indian spices/groceries shopping because the vegetables aren't always fresh. They do try to keep things fresh but as is the case with many grocery stores, sometimes you're in luck and on other times.... not so much. However, with Fruiticana I've been in the 'other times' more often. Also, fresh is a relative word here because they're probably using strange means to get Indian eggplants or other Indian vegetables in the peak of winter. It's not as clean as H & W produce or Spice Center (both in the same neighborhood). The staff are reasonably friendly and helpful. Do come here and check out the collection of spices. The in-store food isn't the greatest but I've always found it to be fresh. However, if you're anyway making the voyage down to Millwoods, I'd recommend going to Punjab Sweets for they sell things at a faster rate.

I enjoy a number of British candy bars and was able to find most of them here. I also tried Irn-Bru for the first time, which is a classic Scottish soft drink (spoiler alert: it is VERY sweet). The variety of crisps is amazing, with many unusual flavours. I bought a bag of Guinness chips but have not tried them yet. Prices are reasonable considering these are imported items, and the location is just off of Whyte Avenue - perfect for a visit will taking a stroll around the area.
