The shop has a really nice vibe and a very positive attitude to making a difference in the world. The clothing selection is not as good as some of the other charity stores, but it more than makes up for it in ethnic ornaments and other bits and pieces. I particularly like their range of journals and diaries, from many different countries and with amazing photos and images. This shop is very effective displaying their passion for their cause.

I am sure you are now wondering why, well let me explain it to you. This Oxfam has been laid out and designed to be modern and funky to entice people of, perhaps, a younger generation in. It is so close to Anglia Ruskin University that it draws in all sorts of students too. This Oxfam doesn't just sell second hand clothes and accessories, oh no it sells artistic work, old vinyl records and some very oddball items. This Oxfam has been created to appeal to creative people, nostalgic people and modern people. It has such a fresh approach that it completely breaks the boundary of the mundane existence of most charity shops. The only downfall with this Oxfam shop is that, through it's modern vibe, it seems to feel it has the right to be more expensive. I, and hopefully you, can forgive this as it encompasses so many levels of cool! You can't miss it, it is the first store you will see on Mill Road and it is at least worth a look see.

Some things you do look at and think really? but the people who run it are so lovely and there are some hidden gems inside here. I got almost the whole range of the sims 2 for £4 and a really cool cushion for £1! BARGAIN! There are also loads of awesome old vinyl's in there to purchase for peanuts! I love taking trips here, I'd say I go at least once a month just for the fun of it!
