They do workshops for adult and children so you can attend either (or both)! The cafe is also amazing. Great food. Great cakes! The gift shop is also really well stocked. The library itself is rather old fashioned and could really do with a make over but it still stocks plenty of books inside. Its a meduim size shop with plenty of seating areas and table and chairs if you need to study in a quite place. Theres also a small section for the children with small chairs and table for them to sit and and read through there books too.

There are many books in stock, ranging from valuable collectible and antique books and first editions, through to kids books and chick lit. Recently a small coffee machine has been installed, and a table chairs brought in to encourage people to stay for while. the prices for books are pretty good (though the collectibles are perhaps a touch pricey) and the atmosphere in here is relaxing.

It's a small shop, and well filled, with a range of men's, women's and kids clothes, books, games and other bits and bobs. The selection of women's clothes is fairly broad, but not enough crazy vintage for my liking (sometimes, if you ask nicely to see the fancy dress section, they will let you see some of the funkier clothes they keep hidden upstairs,) The prices are pretty good, not as sky high as Oxfam, so take a dip!
