I just can't help it. - Since taking on the role of assistant manager in a charity shop, I can't help but slip into full-blown pricing mode mid-browse. Be warned, if you join me for an afternoon of charity shop browsing, I will comment on a shop's pricing. Prepare to hear one of three things; 'ouch, pricey!', 'woah, mega bargain!' or 'on point pricing!'
Obviously, pricing is subjective and staff price guides differ from shop to shop, but I've found that Cancer Research shops price the fairest; I often leave feeling like the prices are reasonable, meaning that it's possible to snap up a real bargain but along with this, the higher quality items are suitably priced too. I think Cancer Research prices are just right!
The quality of clothing on offer here is great, with a variety of brands, from cheap to high-end. I just loved the size of the shop; it's large and spacious with lots of clothing and accessories on offer. It was a real treat to browse! I popped in on Friday night and they were open even though it was close to 9pm and the sign outside said that they closed at 8. - Just perfect for a spot of late-night second hand shopping!
