I took a look around the various charity shops in Wellington (and there are loads!), and found this one by far the best for me. Although at first glance they appear more expensive, brand for brand they are about the same as the other charity shops in the town. They seem to have a lot more of the better quality high street brands than the other shops I visited. They also sell some unusual items (they were selling a range of very nice stand mounted fossils when I went in).
The shop is very clean and tidy, and very nicely laid out. It feels a bit more like a boutique than the traditional charity shop image of a rummage sale.
I managed to pick up a brand new winter coat, full length charcoal pure wool, with the tags still attached for only £20! I also found a first edition book for a friend in their vintage books section.
The staff were very helpful and chatty, and seemed very genuine. All in all a very pleasant shopping trip, and I recommend you take a look yourself.
