I always prefer to support local small businesses and this is a cute place to check out on a rainy day and the dog that greets you inside is adorable and friendly.

It's a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Springfield. After work I usually look forward to stopping in to just relax, browse books and admire all of the crystals, stones and gems. In addition, John, went an extra mile and included (2) additional wicks. Recently, I have been having an UNSATISFACTORY experience with the $10. stones wicks (very POOR in quality). I have been using Oil Lamps with stone wicks for over 5 years and the wicks generally lasted no LESS than a full 30 days; mostly for several months. My last purchase of (2) stone wicks, though, the usage time was only 7 -10 days. After reaching out, via email, to resolve the issue, John advised that the wicks, although advertised as, LIFELONG, I should expect that these wicks will clog and therefore cutting the life expectancy to a few days. John encouraged me to purchase additional oils from LAMP STAND ( I did $85.00 worth) then he would, in turn, replace the defective wicks purchased from LaTEEDah. Of course the replacement wicks were not included with my purchase order. So, again, I reached out, via email, to John. He, again, promised to send out the (2) replacement wicks that were NOT included with my order. Currently, it's been over two weeks, later, AND I have NOT received the replacement wicks or a refund for the (2) wicks purchased with my order. I have at least (4) months of oil to use, NOW without an usable wick. So, I am forced to move forward with finding quality stone wicks elsewhere from a company that can better provide quality products and customer service.

One associate named Kelly promptly guided them to the front of the store after making several dramatic gestures to her co-worker. Sighing, rolling eyes, making loud remarks to make sure the co-worker knew that the girls were a group together so they could watch them. The girls were trying to look at a few different items and they kept making a point to look into their bag from another store insinuating they were trying to steal. When I approached her she offered no apology for her rude behavior. We will not be back or spending any money in this store.

Each time I was told that it would be fine. Then I get an email that says my order has been canceled, And by the way no refund has been processed yet. When I called the store and spoke to an employee named Tracy, I was given attitude and dishonesty. When I called the customer service line to explain the situation I was treated very courteously. However they offered absolutely no solution to the problem. And they had absolutely no interest in retraining this employee so that they may give better customer service and not take complaints personally which is exactly what she did. Very sad because I truly enjoyed shopping at this particular establishment. But with all the other options available out there.It would be foolish to waste my hard earned money at at this place of business.

Guess I'll order from Amazon or eBay, since the brick and mortar can't supply it, and blames it on the customer. Laziness and unacceptable.

The shopping center is busy but parking is plentiful. It's pretty busy in here on the weekend…read morethough, so prepare to be trampled like you're Black Friday shopping for the last TV in stock at Walmart. The wife can spend my paycheck in here without breaking a sweat, which on the one hand makes me happy for her because I like seeing her smile. On the other hand it makes me worried we might not be able to afford rent this month. They now have fillers for some of the hand soap containers which is really handy.
