Want the property values in your subdivision to drop and have big turnover in sales, with everyone…read moreleaving and nobody buying? Want to harass both tenants and landlords? Then by all means, hire BP Management of Belvidere and Poplar Grove. I am moving out of a rental that was supposed to include outside maintenance, mowing, snow shoveling. The grass is dead. There is green algae on the siding. My children and I have awakened many a morning to shovel ourselves out. Yet, when a neighbor put out a "free" sign and several pieces of furniture, BP assumed it was mine. They harassed my landlord, a major corporation, who in turn thought I was violating HOA policies. When I rented this residence, I completed paperwork. Three weeks before I move, BP again harassed the corporation that owns the property for me to fill out paperwork, claiming that I never did so. Really? I have an email from 2014 with the paperwork attached. And said paperwork is appallingly ridiculous. The local branch of the landlord corporation has my renter's insurance policy number, number of pets, and car information. BP wanted my cat's certificate number, photos of the cat, my insurance policy number- for what??? They can't enter the premise. And these people even asked the address of the residence. They claim to have some kind of jurisdiction over a place, and they don't know the address??? And nastier employees and subcontractors you will never find. The chips on their shoulders and snotty attitudes do not endear them to anyone. If your subdivision feels it must have an HOA, get another organization. BP does nothing to merit your How's trust or money.
