My point is that if she was deficient, she wouldn't be at Willow Falls doing personal visits there since old folks dont hold back, they tell you how they really feel. The only reason we went to Dr. Overpeck was he received good reviews. So an appt was made and I was told to print out new patient forms off the website. I filled out the questionnaire truthfully. My mom is 85 years old with virtually no medical conditions. She is not on any medications. With that being said I did honestly state that she is a smoker and has about 2 drinks a night... she doesn't drive! But with being 85 years old, it's not uncommon. She had a cut on her small toe that looked infected and felt we needed a "specialist" to treat it. It took almost a week to get results. When the nurse called, she said the doctor was not comfortable treating my mom, not comfortable with the patient's life style (heavy smoker who is 85 years old), not comfortable with the patient's health care, not comfortable referring patient to another doctor, and would not give us the results of the tests performed. Basically, we were made to feel she had leprosy and homeless. My mother is taken care of!! She sees a doctor for her checkups, flu shots, and anything that comes up. Where they would get the notion that her health care was non-existent, is beyond me. The problem with this entire situation is the unethical way everything was handled. When we told the person who called that she obviously needs antibiotics, they did not seem to care. She just stated that the doctor has a right to refuse treatment... I'm not sure if that is or isn't true, but it is morally wrong. She was in need of medicine and we were told that they basically wash their hands of this patient. We then had her normal doctor call to get all her medical records. She is now being taken care of by a doctor who actually cares for her patients. BOTTOM LINE IS... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS "FARCE" OF A DOCTOR. HE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ABLE TO CALL HIMSELF A DOCTOR OR PRACTICE MEDICINE!!!!!!

The untimely nature of the bill called into question (at least in my mind) its validity and accuracy. The bill was difficult to understand and my calls to the billing clerk ended up in rude responses and "hang ups" on the part of the billing clerk. When my wife then called up about the bill about three weeks after we had originally received it, the response from the billing clerk was that it had been "sent to collection." An outdated billing system, rude billing clerk, untimely payment processing, and policies which send three week old bills to "collection" eroded my trust in this doctor and the office in general. Save yourself unnecessary aggravation and go elsewhere for medical services.

Billing Nightmare! Does not Return Calls! DEBT Collections!…read more I saw Dr. Agnich to treat a broken foot. I should have known from the beginning that I was in trouble after seeing her charging $15 /pair of gloves, totaling $165 for all my visits. OK, so I have insurance that paid most of the bills, and I paid my portion of the bills promptly, but to my surprise, 6 months after completing treatment, I got a call from a Bill Collector, stating that I owed Dr. Agnich, $10. Who knows, maybe there was a glove, that I forgot to pay for ;). It was easier for me to just pay the collector, instead of arguing over $10, so I did. Fast Forward 1 year later, I get a call from another bill collector, demanding over $200, they say is an outstanding balance, owed to Dr. Agnich. I contacted my insurance company, and pulled all the balances, and bills associated with Dr. Agnich, and found no surprises, I had ZERO outstanding balances, with Dr. Agnich, Nothing that I hadn't paid, and Nothing that the Insurance failed to pay. I tried contacting Dr. Agnich's office, and left messages, trying to get some answers, but never got a call back. In frustration, I personally drove to her office, and hand delivered my documents, showing I didn't have any outstanding balances. They promised to get back to me, but to this day, have not. I then sent all my documents to the bill collector, and they stopped contacting me. Now 6 years later, ANOTHER bill collector, contacted me saying that I owed over $200 to Dr. Agnich. HOW FRUSTRATING. This bill collector, keeps calling me, and speaking to me in a threatening manner. They have never sent me anything in writing. I've sent the collector written notice, that they need to send me in writing, what this debt is from, and to stop calling me. I don't intend to communicate any further unless they can provide, in writing, what was I billed and didn't pay. This whole experience, has been nothing but a nightmare, I would steer well clear of Dr. Agnich's office.

First she told me it was up to the Doctor if he wanted to stay to see me, Then she called me back telling me to come in. (I would have loved her anyway, she was so kind) Dr. MacNab was so focused and personable. He took care of the problem and we were on our way. No need to miss the trip! And my husband and I feel like we just made two new friends...we laughed through the whole visit, even through the pain. Thank you Julie and Dr MacNab! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr MacNab.
