I was looking for ALA (for diabetic neuropathy) in a dose higher than 100 mg ( Costco and Shoppers only offered 100 mg) and was pleased to find the 200, 300, and 400 mg options here comparable in price to the 100 mg price at Costco. Lorri signed me up for emails and told me about the monthly sales. Sure, some things here are higher than most but for ALA, this was a great price! I will definitely be back!

I was told it is also called The Callingwood Vitamin Centre... but when I googled that address and ended up at the wrong location and was walking around about a block off. An annoying start to going somewhere new. When I arrived a little exasperated, with my kids in tow, the staff member gave off unwanted vibes. They did ask if I was looking for anything in particular but seemed to want to distance themselves after pointing me in a direction even though no one else was in the store at the moment. And when I tried to ask more questions about particular products I got responses I could hardly hear. While I was looking at stuff there were quite a few more clients that entered. The first Tuesday of the month is 25% off day, but this discount doesn't additionally apply to already discounted items. They do have a wide selection of vitamins, health products, and spices. The actual stock at Popeye's is insane. They have a multitude of brands available of multiple products. If you're looking for something specific and they don't have it, they're super open to writing the name of it down for possible stock potential or giving you advice on picking something really similar. They have a huge assortment of powders and proteins to try there in the store, so you aren't investing in a huge tub of something if you don't know what it tastes like.
