He did end up apologizing and taking responsibility for the poor communication in the email in which he sent the final statement. So I guess that's better than not recognizing it at all. He completed just the initial steps of everything that he agreed to complete from our initial meeting with him and our new lawyer has completed pretty much everything in half the time for a fraction of the price.
