He was considerate and took a lesser fee because the homeowners didn't have insurance, thereby they had to pay out of pocket. *I never had to wait long to see my attorney and, in fact, they had to wait after hours for me to arrive. *The receptionist is excellent, both warm and efficient at her job. *There was enough parking. Cons: Zneimer & Zneimer took 2 years to reach a conclusion, in what I would have thought to be a straightforward matter. But I never called them to check on the status of my suit, so, as they saying goes, the rusty wheel doesn't get the grease. Also, I'm not a lawyer and have never filed a dog bite lawsuit, so I don't know how these things usually go. Overall, I highly recommend this firm. Did not know that, and it was not disclosed until when the time came to show up in court, and she did not, someone else filled in for her, because of Covid. This was the very early stages of the pandemic and the virtual hearings were not set up yet. The lawyer that showed up, went in to the judges chambers with my ex-wife's lawyer, and a deal was made. What?????????? A bad deal for me. Then, Kasia went on maternity leave. She was replaced with someone who yelled at me on the phone. I was billed for phone calls made to my ex-wife's lawyer. I feel that if I am billed for an official phone call, I should be part of the discussion. Just like the documents, no documents should be sent to the other lawyer without the person's signature or approval. Which they did ask for my approval for every document. I ended up with about 30K in lawyer fees, all the marital debt, and child support, well higher than what the statutory would be. The law clearly states that the ordinary medical expenses should be covered by the child support. My lawyer argued with me that it does not. 750 IL CS 5/505 clearly states: A portion of the basic child support obligation is intended to cover basic ordinary out-of-pocket medical expenses. I am left with paying 60% of co-pays and 100% of medical insurance. I am being sincere, and not saying this out of spite, but I really felt like my lawyer did not have my best interest at heart. None of the three + Maxine who were involved in my case. Stay away at all costs from this place.

After thinking about this, I am the one who continues to suffer and though I don't usually write reviews, I felt that I needed to tell my story. My attorney seemed kind in the beginning, and I felt strongly that I was in good hands, but as time went on, it changed. I was treated disrespectfully, and I felt that my settlement was unjust for the multiple surgeries and degree of suffering I went through, and I still am in pain every day and still in therapy. I have had regular follow up appointments at my orthopedic doctors. I have CRPS and recently this year that are recommending that Rush pain center implanting a pain pump may help. I am 69 years old and this is now what I excepted and no longer to handle all of these doctor bills. had a very renowned orthopedic surgeon, and he knew that I was badly injured and he expressed that I am a good and honest person and told everyone just that. I was a volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul and now I can no longer do what I love to help my church and community. I was treated disrespectfully with no compassion despite that was a very stressful day for and I cried all the way home the day of my arbitration. I often can't sleep at night because of my pain, and it just bring this injustice to mind and makes things worse. My life was drastically impacted by my accident, and my lawyer treated me like he was representing the defendant. I am not deleting my review. I feel the need to tell the truth because I am the one who's life was changed by this accident. I felt that my settlement was grossly unfair and was far less that what he initially told me my case was worth. I was given false information. He said "If we don't settle now, I have to go back and write a 15-page summary of some sort for the judge" with a sigh.
