The questions only pertained to our needs. The woman I spoke to, was speedy on the phone, as if she was in a rush to gage if I was a good candidate or not for their business. She would talk over me, cut me off and wasn't pleasant one bit. I told her I had to discuss things with the family and contact their office later. Before I could finish thanking her, she hung up! Realistically, lawyers are a dime a dozen here. Based on her reviews, it seemed like a great fit. Our initial call with her went well, but that's when it started to fall apart. Our project got handed off to her paralegal Kristina as she worked through the paperwork. Over the course of about 5 months, she made two significant errors on our submissions to the State of Nevada and State of California -- spelling our company name wrong. Such a simple mistake that should not have happened. I am still not sure why we did not have the opportunity to review the documents before they were mailed out. On top of that, ran into another lack of attention to detail few months later. The whole process ended up taking nearly 5 months and we spent $4000. FYI, even though we were a paying client, we still had to go through Kristina to get a hold of Gina. We couldn't call Gina directly, only through email. The customer service and communications side was just really lacking. I hate to say this, but you likely are better off with a filing company like LegalZoom or doing it yourself.
