It's busy time for tree cutters and after getting estimates from various services I settled on Canopy Tree Service. Shane gave my project a very thorough walk-through and took into consideration numerous points that others had overlooked. His estimate was midpoint to others and his availability was not immediate, however, I felt confident in his assessment and the time he took to discuss my concerns. The crew had to reschedule our appointment due to running longer on another bigger project but on the day they arrived they were an energetic, prepared, professional crew with all the equipment they needed to cut down 2 full trees, trim branches with different saws, grind the stumps, cut and stack the firewood pile I wanted to keep, and clean up after they finished. Everyone was polite, very experienced in their assignment(s), and interacted well with each other. I could tell they were used to working as a team while remaining very focused on their work. When I bothered them with questions they kindly and patiently explained their answers. Recently my father had a kitten stuck up about 25ft in a tree in his backyard. We believe our dog may have scared him up there. After removing the dog several times over several days, we realized the kitten was not going to get down on it's own. I called 311 but they said they, nor the fire dept helps with this situation anymore. I called several different pest control and tree service companies for help. They either wouldn't do it or wanted to charge a large amount of money with no guarantee. Finally I called Canopy Tree Service and they not only said they would do it but offered to do it for FREE!! Before he could get there he instructed us on how to get water and food to the kitten. I contacted them for a quote on Saturday. He came by and gave me a quote. They did a very complicated tree removal without harming the house or the three different electrical wires crossing through it and around it. The only way I can tell it was done is the tree is gone. Absolutely no mess at all. The workers were amazingly friendly. I know you're scared and worried about your house but these professionals will do a good job. 48 hours later on Monday afternoon they remove the 30 to 40 foot tall tree and removed all the stress that I had. Shane and team were quick, extremely responsive, and very professional. We had two 40 foot palm trees removed, and they even trimmed live oaks hanging a bit low in the drive way, for free, without me asking. I called them after 5pm on a Friday, when most businesses send you to VM, and the crew was out here on Monday morning. Shane came out and QC'ed his team's work after business hours the same day. We had a standard trimming job, nothing complicated. The price was a little more expensive than we got from others, but it was well worth it. The crew is very experienced and knows what they're doing, which is tremendously important when doing high-risk jobs like tree work. They were quite nice, and the bid was very reasonable (basically the same as what I ended up paying) but they were booked a bit too far out, so I used someone else. Shane did call a number of times to try and line up our schedules, he seemed very pleasant. Maybe next time. I always get three estimates. read more

On same day Tom came by to review and estimate given and by Saturday before noon large over 20 ft long branch removed n hauled off, problem solved.
