Definitely recommend to just fill out the application online beforehand and to book on their electronic appointment set up. Even doing an 8am appointment is not a bad idea since you seem to get in and out within 30 minutes. Make sure to have cash or card for your license payment which can range from 20-30 dollars.

Inkster City Hall is easy to navigate - once you know where you are going. The Tax Increment Finance Authority (TIFA) Meeting Room is spacious. It is put to good use for other community activities as well. The Inkster City Hall features several large meeting rooms. Each one is accoutered with large tables and plenty of comfortable chairs. The rooms are large enough to allow participants to move around during the work, either to exercise, mingle or perform side meetings. The grounds are kept neat and clean. Parking is adequate. There is additional parking available along side streets. The neighborhood is quiet. I especially like the fact that the building is located on a side street and not on a busy motorway. It makes it easy and pleasant to access. The feeling is very much small town with the advanced, modern, timeless architecture allowing the well deserved impression of accuracy, capability and security. Altogether a nice building to see and visit with grounds and a neighborhood nice for a walk.

It's a nice and smooth ride while you're on the bridge. They check passports entering Canada and coming back into the US. It's a $9 toll each way for using the bridge. Upon leaving Canada they have a duty free store at the border. I didn't find things that were that cheap. I did pick up a candy bar. Last time, I got myself a perfume.

The ride was smooth but let me tell you, they have barricades up and it can be slightly confusing as to where to go. I almost followed two trucks to the truck zone! The customs agents are fine and they have a border shop on the Canadian side for purchases of alcohol, purses, jewelry and other items. I think it's all tax free! I love the skyline view when crossing the bridge because you can see the rencen and the updated train station that was reopened over the summer. You can pay cash when entering the US, which is weird because going through the tunnel on the way to the border you could only pay by card. I also enjoyed the large Canadian and American flags huge from above to show which country you're in.

Social Security is ripe with ineptness and incompetence illustrating a sheer example of Government…read morewasteful spending for the need of a mass number of employees. You sit 45 min - hour on hold making repeated calls for a problem their employee(s) have created themselves. On 12/10/17 I called SSA to change my retirement direct deposit from bank A to bank B. A simple issue that an elementary school student can accomplish in entering a dozen numbers. So on 1/3/18 I check both checking accounts, of A and B, and NOTHING. I immediately called SSA and discovered that they had my retirement deposit using the routing number of bank A and the account number of bank B. So the rep corrected the routing number and informed me the check would be in my account in two days. Needless to say nearly a week later and NO DEPOSIT. A couple more phone calls were made in an attempt to resolve the issue and ZILCH. Only resulting in nothing more than different SSA representatives with different tales. The last stating that I'd have to visit my SSA office, a hour and 30 minute trip one way with two bus transfers, for a problem the SSA caused themselves. Then SSA wonders WHY they are backed up -- it's simple - inept and incompetent employees. PERIOD. For every issue one has to call a multitude of times to attempt to get simple problem resolved, in my case, a problem their employee(s) created themselves. One gets different replies from EACH representative. I can't believe these idiots are so STUPID, instead I truthfully believe that SSA employees are intentional making errors to validate their government employment and paychecks. It doesn't take a brain surgeon folks.
