I was advised the lenses would need to be remade. Upon returning two weeks later, the issue persisted. I then worked directly with the manager, Chris Childress, who assured me the problem would be resolved. However, after another visit, the glasses were still incorrect. This total process lasted 5 weeks! Due to these repeated errors, I requested that my order be canceled and refunded. To make matters worse, the manager, Chris Childress responded rudely and showed little concern.  Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Seaview Optical in Delray Beach, Florida.

While my PRK eye still has some healing to do it was nothing like the internet made it out to be, and the team does everything to ensure you are comfortable and not in any pain. I have been working with the Katzen team since March of this year when I went in for my first evaluation. Because I was a long time RGP contact user, it took me a bit more time to be approved while only wearing glasses. Fast forward almost 3 months later, and I am writing this review without anything but my corrected eyes! It is truly amazing and the procedure was quick and painless (though you couldn't have told my nerves that the day I had it done). If you are on the fence about visiting Katzen Laser, DO IT. I did a lot of research before finally making the call for an evaluation and my only regret is not doing it sooner. I wouldn't trust my eyes anywhere else. Special thanks to Dr. McCracken as well for seeing me through the whole process, and Julie for her awesome bedside (or chair side in this case) manner! I wasted money on Ubers since I knew I wouldn't be able to drive. My Doctor wasn't even in the office to perform the service. I paid $50 for a visual field test and the women helping me couldn't figure out how to use the machine so someone else had to come in. That wasted 20 minutes. It was very unprofessional. I headed home and the Doctor called and said the test was normal and to come back in 6 months....nope. Time to find a new specialist. The customer service is terrible!

Update: Had to return to have my glasses adjusted and…read moreeveryone was much friendlier. Really appreciate it :) Went in to drop off my new frames I bought elsewhere to get lenses put in. The only reason I came here was because no other eyeglass place would accept the risk of doing the job due to the high value of the frames. One place recommended I bring them here. They have a nice selection of designer frames; Burberry, Prada, dolce and gabbana, etc. The assistant manager has the approachability of a cactus. When I walked in she asked what I was there for. I told her I wanted to drop off my frames to get lenses, she then asked for my account info to which I told her I had not been in before and she scolds me since I had apparently been incorrect in how I said it. Throughout the 35 minutes I spent there, I repeatedly tried to make conversation over details I could tell about her and our common interests and I basically got one word answers. There is something wrong when as a customer, you are friendlier to the employee than they are to you. When I called a few days earlier to find out if I could come in she just kept repeating that they wouldn't be liable for any damage to my frames, like, no, I get it. The only reason I came here was for convenience. Poor customer service though. Update.... After receiving my glasses and being unhappy with how the lenses look, I have tried for over a week to get in touch with the manager, who is clearly not managing the place. I finally called my good old LensCrafters in boca and spoke to their extremely helpful, and kind manager, Juan. He gave me all the info I needed and even offered to help me at their location.
