This is a convenient neighborhood market/gas station. I've lived in this area seven years and was here at least several times a week. Problem with Canyon Golf Market is their prices are very inconsistent and none of them are listed. It also changes at the whim of whoever is working. I don't mind spending a little extra money for the convenience but this is shady business practices and isn't fair to consumers. Also their prices are not just slightly high they are exorbitant. At least double what you'll pay at H-E-B if not triple depending on what you're buying. I've been phasing out of shopping here but it's a bummer when it's so close and convenient. read more

PRICE GOUGING ALERT! Albeit this market has many things most gas station groceries do not carry, their pricing is beyond reason. We got 1 bunch of green onions and 1 package of sliced Kraft Provolone and total....$8.00. No prices displayed. Compared the same items at HEB and they were $4.00. Sorry, I know business' have to make a living, but this is beyond reason. They don't even list prices so you can compare, nor do they give you a receipt unless you ask. I know you pay more at convenience stores but at these prices it's worth a drive to shop elsewhere. Buyer beware. read more

This place is a total ripoff. They don't post prices, so they can change and charge what they want as they go. I know it's a "convenience" store, but I'd rather go to HEB than spend 3x the amount for something. Most of the staff is extremely rude, it smells like mold/mildew and sewage almost every time I go inside...this place needs new owners. For example - charged $8 for small bottle of ketchup, $23 for a bottle of $7 wine, $15 for a 6-pack of $9 beer, $4.50 for a small bag of vending machine chips, etc. This gas station SUCKS. read more

This place is kinda awesome for a gas station. Leave it to a place in Stone Oak to have flavors and novelty goods and flavors not found @ HEB. (e.g., Monster flavors & 10ft cable anyone?) I've really never even gone inside this market, but I do find it to be a super convenient location for those living in area neighborhoods, or traveling through to 281. I've been by lots of times to get gas. Last night, we discovered that they also have a car wash, and after the recent rainy weather, our car was certainly ready for a clean-up. We got right in, got right out, and went on our way with a nice, clean car. read more

They were open during the snow storm which allowed me to get food for my family. This market usually comes through for me, but I cannot thank them enough. increase prices constantly! label prices incorrectly (different than what it rings up on register. only gas station that doesn't do coupons for items behind register then is rude about it! and save the best for last.. they are thiefs!! watch your bank account as they take out multiple charges for one charge. example. i got stuff that equaled $25 and some change and they charged me 3 x for that one transaction. this happened multiple times before i caught it. now i only use credit card or paypal there so they cant steal my money. and that is only when i have to go there and not another one. and the lady who i believe is either owner or manager!! she is the rudest woman. fakes nice but so incredibly fake and rude! not to mention barely have both registers open! also, i told them and showed them bank statement where they took well into hundreds of dollars and they did nothing about it! and i have heard them doing this to several of my friends in the area! watch your bank statements!! read more

Great neighborhood pitstop with alot of choices in the convenience store category. Diane is wonderful and the hardest working employee. Josie is also great at her job helping customers. I rarely if ever use a convenience store for anything. I just don't care much for their overpriced items. this one is an exception. I use it regularly to fill up my vehicles. They have a lot of pumps but they can still get crowded. Inside the store is very unique. There is such a selection of items it amazes me. From fresh veggies and meats to the regular convenience store items and quite a few grocery items. If they don't have it you may not really need it. read more

Almost every time I get gas at this station my credit card gets hacked and I have to replace it. I deliberately stopped using my card at other places to test my suspicion. This is the best gas station in town! At least the North Side! I love it! They have everything! A decent winde selection, a beer cooler, lots of groceries/staples, plus they have fresh produce, meats, a deli, flowers, Krispy Kreme, clean bathrooms. This place is great. Not only does it have one of the FEW petrol stations in this area, it's actually a Shell station, which is the only brand I will put in my vehicles. There are plenty of pumps, a touchless car wash (have not used it, but was happy to see it was brushless), and a decent amount of parking for the market. Now normally, if I think about a market attached to a petrol station, I'm imagining someplace to run in a grab a soda, a 6-pack of beer, maybe a snack or a day-old hotdog... but this is the North Central side and that would not cut it here. :p This is literally a full market, with a large selection of wine, a huge walk-in beer cooler, fresh fruits and veggies, a deli, a variety of different made-ready meals, as well as actual grocery store items. This is definately the place to go if you don't have the time or patience to run to HEB. Only downside is that it can get pretty busy, so there is often a line to check out. Even so, it only takes 5-10 minutes, and that is still much quicker than going to another store. read more

When I visit my in-laws, this is our go-to store for anything and everything. From booze, to food, to gas or munchies, they've got it all! You'll be sure to find what you're looking for. Yet, because they are one of the only markets in the area, they tend to be pretty busy.. ALL the time. There is always at least a handful of people at the pumps and in line at registers inside as well. So getting in and out quickly doesn't really happen. Bummer! Yet, my only complaint. Beware of the tall man with dirty blondeish hair and a short beard... he does not want your business!! I went in to get cash out some scratch offs I had won, and went to the first check out I saw that was open. I politely smiled and asked how the guy was doing. As i pulled out the scratch offs, he saw me about to put them on the counter (i just had 2, it would not have taken long) and slammed down the "lane closed" sign and very immaturely hummed a song loudly so i would not speak. So i just said "nice" and went to this very sweet woman who was actually happy to help customers. The best things about this place is the selection and the prices. Since the neighborhood is not that close to a grocery store it is great to be able to run to this little market for items. It is even better that you don't have to pay double. I love when my husband sometimes stops there on the way home and brings me flowers (hint, hint guys). They have some of the prettiest bouquets. And I cannot forget to mention the wines, steaks and other meats and fresh vegetables. I have even gotten frozen crab legs there before. read more

Today my experience with POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE has been confirmed. The staff at Canyon Golf Market (4 associates) were behind the counter. Not one asked if I needed assistance while I waited in front on the counter. (Myra) the supervisor was one of the associates behind the counter. As a leader she should have taken lead on representing the company and ask if I needed assistance. A little acknowledgment goes a LONG WAY! Do not use the ATM here. 4 times now it has double charged me or cheated me when I got no money. I disputed it and got it back each time, but what a headache. The gas pumps have double charged me twice too. Use cash only! read more
