Hubs and I went to get lunch with our pup. They have a dog friendly patio. Just about 5 picnic benches amongst their smokers. They do have seating inside. And some parking lots directly outside. Food was absolutely heavenly. Hubby ordered a 3 meat platter with 2 sides We had burnt ends, ribs and brisket with mac and cheese and coleslaw. Everything was delicious. And when we were done, hubs and i shared the banana pudding. We will be back. Psst: Our little one got the bones and a tast of the bottom of the banana pudding. And absolutely loved it. Tip: if you're a vet, they have a spot for veterans directly outside.

The mrs and I brought our little dog for lunch as we saw they have a dog friendly patio. We ordered at the counter, I couldn't decide what to get. We shared a 3 meat plate with coleslaw and Mac and cheese as the side then added the pudding. I choose a couple sauces, filled the drink and joined her and the little pup outside. The food was delicious. All the meat was hot and tender. The Mac and cheese was creamy delicious. All of us enjoyed ourselves outside even our dog. (He got the bones)

Brisket Hot links - Tex Mex Beans Corn Casserole Pork belly burnt ends

This was good smoked Texas Bbq, outside of Texas. Came into Lincoln from Omaha, just to try some barbecue that might remind me of home. You order up at the glass and they chop up the brisket and sausage links right in front of you. It's not a large dining area, but they also have patio seating for when it's nice out. Price was about $55 for 1/2 lb of brisket, burnt ends, and a sausage link, with a personal side of beans and corn casserole. I would recommend their mustard based sauce with the brisket (three sauce options available). It cuts the fat nicely and pairs great with the peppery bark. The corn casserole was fabulous! Sweet and had a lot of corn in it, which I prefer. They put Fritos at the bottom of the beans, which was a nice texture addition for the flavorful beans but got soggy as it sat. The pork belly burnt ends were sweet and not normally the cut of meat I would expect as a burnt end, sadly also being a bit tough to chew. Considering going back to try the ribs in the future, but will say, coming fromTexas, I would not put this place up with the Greats, like Terry Black, Burnt Bean, Snows, etc...

Three meat combo with brisket, smoked pork burnt ends, turkey, and Mac, potato salad, and beans

Stopped in at Canyon Joe's on the way through Lincoln to Colorado. This restaurant did not disappoint, and I had probably the best barbecue I've ever had in my life. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, so enjoy.!

This place is definitely a great barbecue spot located in Downtown Lincoln walking distance from the College campus, the staff here is very nice and helpful to the customers, I ended up getting the 2 meat plate for $22 and I ended up picking the Brisket and Turkey combo with a side of potato salad. The brisket and turkey was well cooked, prepared and seasoned. I definitely enjoyed my meal and the reviews did not disappointed at all. I will be back at this location to get some more of that great barbecue Texas style.

Looks better than it tastes. Good not great

Looked awesome and it tasted good. Just not as good as Texas bbq. I liked it and would go back. The brisket was tasty. Not a fan of the sausage and for some reason they put some topping on the Cole slaw that was gluten. I have a gluten allergy and never seen the topping. Don't think it's necessary.

We tried it all!! Hubby devoured his tray before a picture could be taken!!

From the genuine greeting when we walked in the door to the expertly smoked meats, Canyon Joe's is doing it right! Try it all! The brisket is thick sliced with the perfect pull on the fat cap, the ribs literally fall off the bone with a deep smokey flavor, the in house made sausage is nice and dense and full of flavor, the turkey is moist and juicy with a peppery bite but those pork belly burnt ends will steal the show every time! Absolutely hands down best we've ever had! Our favorite side was the potato salad but the beans came in a close second! Simple decor but complex BBQ'ing going on here!

Brisket Sandwich and a split pint of Canyon Mac

We looked for a local restaurant to stop at before we left a conference in Lincoln. We found high ratings for the barbecue, and decided to try it! We walked two blocks for parking during a busy lunch hour. You very much see the classic barbecue joint mixed in with a modern twist. We asked for the best thing on the menu, and were met with "brisket" quickly and bodly. We did three brisket sandwiches, layered on the hot barbecue and split a pint of macncheese. It rang up around $50 to feed the three of us. The food was delicious. Brisket was tender and juicy, and the Mac n Cheese was the "most mac ever." The meals came out quick and we left full. It still felt a little expensive for the three of us, but it was a great lunch! 4.5 stars with the only hindrance being a little pricey, but would definitely come back!

I'd never had a piece of permanent jewelry before, but the idea of adding something seamless to my daily bracelet stack was too tempting to pass up. With a quick appointment booking and a tiny deposit, we were set! We arrived a bit early to the cozy home studio, where we were warmly welcomed by Jewels--who, true to her name, was a gem of a host! She walked us through the process and showed off the dazzling selection of chains and charms. After much deliberation (because, let's be honest, picking just one is tough), I settled on a delicate chain with my initial as the perfect embellishment. The appointment was short and sweet--just like the perfect brunch mimosa! The atmosphere was inviting, creative, and full of good vibes, much like Jewels herself. And the best part? With bracelets starting at $65, the experience felt like the perfect mix of luxury and affordability. Plus, she even repurposes scrap pieces into adorable charms for your Stanley cup--because hydration deserves a little bling, too! If you're looking to add a little sparkle to your life (or your bestie's), book an appointment. You won't be disappointed!
