I had it towed to HUFFYS only to be told they wouldn't get to it until the new year. Once they did, they diagnosed it as needing a new high pressure pump. They replaced the pump and told me it still wouldn't start and thought the new pump might be faulty and had to run more tests to cover their ass so they could get warranty on the faulty pump and get another one. A few days later they called me again and said the new pump actually wasnt the issue and works fine but now they had so much pressure in the lines that they blew the lines and needed to replace those as well as it needed new batteries. They charged us almost $5000 and we picked the truck up and drove home. Less than a week later the truck has the exact same issue and wouldn't start. I called them back and asked if they could have it towed back there and they said no that was my issue to deal with. He said well you drove it for almost a week didn't you? It was less than a week but for the amount of money we spent, the truck should have been fixed. Also the few days I drove it, the weather had warmed up a lot and it seems to be cold starting is the issue. My husband then phoned him and told them it's their responsibility to fix it as we paid them to fix that problem. When I got back on the phone the mechanic Rob told me we need to take 20 mins and calm down then call him back and then he hung up...Also during this time period keep in mind, we brought 2 more of our trucks to them for minor repairs. One they charged us almost $700 and the other one I had asked them to replace the sway bar bushings for which they did a bunch of other stuff and didn't do the sway bar bushings and charged us almost $2000 and gave the truck back in such poor condition that is now undrivable. The steering is fuc**d. I brought that truck back and he said maybe something happened to it when they had put it on the hoist? But again it's now my issue. So back to truck number 1...they looked at it again and called back and now said they think there's water in the diesel and they can fix it but it would be an additional $800 for them to drain the tank. I said if it's having the same issue now that it had when we first brought it there then why did they charge us $5000 for the high pressure pump?? He said well it needed that anyways. We spent almost $10 000 total and not only did they not fix our trucks but gave them back in worse condition then when we brought them there. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic and would never recommend this place to anyone!!! If zero stars was an option that is what they would get from us.

I was leaving Hope with my two children on a Sunday night when my engine light came on, and black smoke came out of the exhaust. I pulled over and to be safe, had the car towed to Car Guys while we stayed in a local motel. Car Guys checked the car thoroughly, made a number of recommendations which they detailed for me on the invoice, but offered to fix just enough to get our car safely back on the road. All done by early afternoon. They were friendly, honest and fast, and I am very grateful.

These guys go out of their way to fix your car, in record time, and they even give it a bath once their done. Not only are their prices killer (e.g., oil change, summer tire installation, break check, loose belt adjustment, fluid top up and car wash... for almost half the price of what I paid for a simple oil change at a typical "drive-in oil change" place in Vancouver). Sweet eh? I think the thing I love most about the folks here is that they point out stuff that honestly needs to be fixed and give you an estimated time of when fixing is actually needed (i.e., your timing belt and water pump are needing replacement - Mazda says next week, but honestly, you can go another 10K if you don't have the cash now).... all without actually expecting you to let them do the work. They simply care for you to know what your car needs to keep running smoothly. Weird eh??? We got a flat tire heading into Hope at 6am. Called BCAA and they said they would get back to us. Called them again at 8am and they said it could take 4-6hrs to get a truck to tow us out to Chilliwack. Decided to see what other options were available. We had to be back in Delta by 10:30am. and was put in contact with Wayne Sihata from Jamie Davis Towing. At 8:35am we got off the phone. Not once was price or anything discussed, was told he would drive down and we can talk about what i wanted to do. I did tell him over the phone that BCAA was called but they said their may be a 4-6 hr wait, but we couldnt wait that long as we had to he somewhere for 10:30am. So he said he'd be over in 5 mins to talk about what i wanted to do. Our luck BCAA's tow truck driver showed up at 8:50am while waiting for Wayne to show up. ​Wayne showed up at 8:53am just minutes after BCAA showed up and was putting the car on the bed. Instantly started yelling and cursing at us for not calling and cancelling him when he wasnt even "booked" and over the phone he said was going to come by to "talk about what i wanted to do". Proceeded to call the other tow truck driver over and infront my my child told the other tow truck driver that "i was trying to fucking play them both" and started telling me he "should of let you go to fucking Mr. Lube to get ripped the fuck off". He then demanded we give him $85 because he "had to get out of bed for this shit". We gave him the $85 for him to leave. He just sat there in his truck swearing at us infront of my child and kept calling the other tow truck driver (who was a saint) over and trying to get him to leave us there. Wayne sat in his truck swearing at us the whole time our car was being pulled onto the other trucks bed and up until we got into the tow truck and left. Before using Jamie Davis Towing. Ask who the driver is first. If its Wayna Sihata, ask for somebody else.
