We have a family member who is recuperating here after a back surgery and from the day she entered this skilled nursing facility, she has bee treated well. Every staff member here is well trained and it is clear that this is a patient oriented facility. Additionally, the food at this facility is great and overall the atmosphere is positive. We have been to other establishments that put off a sense of "doom and gloom", and hands down this place surpasses them. When we were in the examination room I asked him if he was vaccinated and he said "Oh, you mean the experimental gene therapy? No." I was shocked and didn't know what to say. He then asked if I wanted him to wear a mask and I said yes. He went in the other room, put one on and came back then said "So here's the thing, in order to get sick you have to be sick-" (or something along these lines. So I cut him off there and said "I'm not comfortable getting services from you, thank you anyway." and left. No where during the intake process was I told the doctor would be unvaccinated and unmasked or I would have looked elsewhere. Negligent and unprofessional and part of the reason the pandemic continues. Really a shameful way for a doctor to behave.
