The flowers were absolutely stunning -- so elegant and exactly what I had pictured. The chuppah setup on the beach for the ceremony was perfect and looked straight out of a magazine. We got so many compliments from our guests! I also loved that Sharon reused flowers from the ceremony for the reception which saved us some money and her prices generally were much better than other florists we looked at in the Wildwood Crest area. She even used some of the flowers on the cake even though that wasn't included in the contract which was so wonderful. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the flowers and the service.

Sane said "no pets". I told her that my dog would not be out of the stroller and she said I couldn't come in. Really? In this day and age? Not nice and lost business and future business from not only me, but my family and now friends that may want to go. This woman has always been cold but this takes the cake! I'm saddened that this will now be an end of an era for many. Poor customer relations from this business.

Sunset Beach is a must-visit every time I go to the Jersey Cape - have watched the ship off shore slowly be reclaimed by the elements. It has also been interesting to watch the little shops slowly expand and update from year to year - now featuring plenty (usually) of parking, a mini golf course, a small but nice restaurant, nearby concrete WWII tower converted to a museum, etc. I have noticed that the Cape May Diamonds® are thinning out a bit compared to the late 70s, but there are still plenty to find - which makes this a great location to take the kids & the great thing is you don't have to spend a dime if you don't want to. Also, there is a reason for the name - great location to watch sunsets out over the bay! Highly recommended!

So I came back the next day and bought it. It was a blue stuffed pig (because of the famous Blue Pig Tavern located in the hotel), and as crazy as it sounds, it's one of my favorite plush toys now. It looked like it would cost over $30, but it was only $15! It's a small little shop that sells very cute souvenirs of the hotel and Cape May. Everything from household, food (shelf stable), seasonal, pet supplies, personal hygiene items, toys, and on and on! I purchased a very nice pair of Champion shorts for my husband and a couple of other items. I may even go back to stock up on some club soda- extremely reasonable! The products available carry brand recognition too. I signed up to become an insider even though I'll be six feet under for decades before one of these stores is likely to come to my area. The cashier was pleasant and there were no lines and no waiting. The prices were great and the items I looked at were high quality.

I really want to rate this store a sort of 3.5 or a 4 minus. We really like going here and do find…read morenice things . But despite a nice variety of items, the prices can be high. I was very disappointed in the childrens clothing. They can only sell what they get donated but I noted condition issues and not much available in some sizes. I thought many of the items should have been on rack of 50 cent items because of the heavy wear of the items. Specialty items like nice gift items, vintage and antique items have antique shop prices not thrift shop. Maybe they need the high prices to support their location costs and their charity support. But there are very few deals. However they have a few racks of $1 items and clearance, and we've picked up several great deals hidden away on these racks. I have also found some nice shoes on my visits. I like this thrift shop but I agree with other reviews about prices. I did see a dress from a designer I know gets $200 new for a dress retail that was $20 in this store, but the dress itself was going to be looking for that one buyer who would look good in the dress. Just because a dress is designer doesn't make it valuable if no one wants it! Anyway, I think it is worth a trip and remember to bring your own bags and ask about discounts.
