i just bought a new Denali Terrain there and the service i received from start to finish was amazing , finance was so great and worked with me and did not try to pressure me like most, they helped me get best deal and trade. my sales rep was there and very open and transparent with me . last but not least the way they treat you when you pick up your car is over and beyond. they have a nice make you feel good music and revieal and they help you set everything up and even called me next day to ensure i was good. . service is beyond and people are so great,... good JOB GMC you made buying a new car such a great experience . would recomend. read more

As far as dealership experiences go, this one was great. The new auto tailgate on their showroom truck is absolutely amazing. I really appreciate Anthony taking the time to show me the vehicle features and keeping the whole experience so low pressure and relaxed. I really felt like I was being well informed and treated like a valued customer. Everyone that I interacted with was extremely professional and I will be purchasing my next vehicle here without hesitation. Always a terrible experience at Capital. Took my vehicle in for an intake cleaning for $300. Had it cleaned and then developed a transmission leak the next day on the transmission cooler line, right beside the intake. Also had a rear differential leak. Can't say for sure this was their fault, but a bad coincidence. I had both the tranny and rear diff flushed by Capital 4 months earlier. Anything they touch, I seem to have problems later on. I shouldn't have leaks on both, after getting both flushed 4 months prior. They told me the car would be good to drive while I waited for the tranny line part. I Left the dealership, and drove for 10 minutes before I got a message saying oil critically low. Looked at the dipstick and had no oil. They sent me to drive a car with no oil. Had to spend another $125 to tow the car to a different shop. Replaced the transmission cooler line for half price at a different shop. (Always seems like prices are double) Went to take the car to Saskatoon the next week, and the thing felt like it was going to blow up. Had to get my car towed from Davidson to Saskatoon for another $400. The dealer I took my car to said the intake was completely plugged, and never touched. This is after I spent $300 for an intake cleaning 2 weeks prior. You are better off not taking your car anywhere at all. Not only will they not fix your issue, but end up making it worse. For all of this I got a free oil change. I will not use this oil change as obviously they can't even do that properly. Avoid Capital at all costs. Try to phone around to local shops, they will have better prices and more experience. Unless your vehicle is under warranty, avoid this place like the plague. read more

Very unhelpful. Needed to have a Maintenance Plan transferred to myself after purchasing a vehicle privately. When I went in to Capital to have this done, they said they couldn't do it and gave me 1-800 number to call GMC directly. Called the number and they told me I needed to have a dealer sign the transfer and then I would have to fax it in. So went to a Sherwood Buick GMC to get the signature as it was closer to work. They took the transfer paperwork and processed the transfer for me while I was there. Guess where I'll be going to have my service work done. read more

Stay far away!! I recently purchased a 2019 demo model from capital GMC, right away we noticed the dock charger wasn't working properly in the car. We were told it was likely because of an older phone however my husband has an iPhone 11. We toke in to the service department as advised. They had tested it and told us everything was fine, however it isn't working!! This is a brand new Vehicle!! I'm seriously scared what will go wrong next. First off service department. This "diagnostic charge" they tack onto the bill is absolute crap. Just a money grab when you go in with an issue and it's evident. Then you get the sales department. Extremely aggressive, will not leave you alone. Stop in to pick up a part and two salesmen chase you through the building. Get an oil change and you get 3,4, or more cold calls from sales staff trying to get you to trade your existing vehicle in and buy a new one. Tell them you aren't in the market and they keep arguing. Complain to the "sales manager" which appears to be a 20 something kid and he thinks its funny. Been driving GM for 25 years and because of these issues I think the next one will be an F-350. Staff at Capital, back the hell off with customers and don't behave like douche bags. Service staff, quit charging the fuck out of customers. Stay away from these guys. They will approve you to put you in a sale that you can't really afford just to meet their numbers. They low ball your trade in as well! Highly don't recommend. !!! please read if you are considering bringing your buisness to capital gmc !!! i don't even know where to start ... i brought my vehicle in on january 13th , nathashia was the one who we dealt with when we dropped off the vehicle, she has been nothing but one of the worst customer service i have ever had .. its been 15 days today that my vehicle has been in the shop , i had to call over 20 times in the last week to get updates on my vehicle, natashia shouldn't be working in the service industry if she cannot provide the right services , so forward a bit , what they are working on is under warrenty so i asked them for a loaner , they said we dont have a loaner but if you find a vehicle to rent we will pay up to $60 a day but it had to be a gm product , well couldn't find one in edmonton so i had to get in contact with gmc canada, wich they told me to go ahead and rent the car and ask the rental company to write down on the receipt no gm product , so that was done , now ive had the rental for 2 weeks now , ive called natashia plenty of times , left plenty of voicemails without getting anything back , today i had enough , so i called capital gmc and spoke with a gentleman named: svend peterson total unprofessional piece of shit , when he answered the phone the first thing i noticed was wow , what an unprofessional manager , i asked him what was going on with my vehicle as well as who was going to pay for the rental , he told me you are ! who do you think ? so now ive been ignored for days , ive been laughed at by the "manager" on the phone , ive been lied to by nathashia who told me to go ahead and rent a vehicle, now i am stuck with a $2600 bill ( thats beside the warranty work ) and now a $1200 from the rental company . svend peterson should not be working in a public place he is a total piece of shit , they all lied , no one even called to say my vehicle was ready! so please please please do you research and read all of the bad reviews on here because they are all true !!!!! do not do buisness with capital gmc they are crooks ! im not sure why they are still operating as a buisness but i will make sure that i pass on this to everyone i know so you dont get yourself into a mess like i am !!!!!!!!!!!!! i repeat stay away from svend peterson and natashia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wish i would of recorded the phone call i had with natashia when she gave me the go ahead to rent the vehicle. oh and the manager , svend did hang up on me while i was still speaking, what a professional piece of art. try and support local mechanics that would work for you and not just steal your cash like these big buisness, they have zero care about their customers they can say whatever they want i was proven by all of the people that i spoke with how unprofessional they were . the only good person i met there was 1 years ago his name was shawn but i dont think he is there anymore . i still have $7000 worth of repair to get done but will definitely bring else where can't wait to pick up my vehicle and not step foot again in that building . and please capital gmc do not comment on my review saying sorry like you did to everybody else , call me directly manager or owner you have my phone number. ive already been in contact with a few people that have left reviews like mine and we are going to do what we can to make the word go around more then google reviews. this needs to be on the news !!!!!!!!!!!!!! im not mad because of the cost i am beyond frustrated because i was told something and now everything is all of the sudden different . not a way to treat any clients wether your spending a dollar or a thousand ! read more

Service department is a joke! Awful customer service! I have gone there a few times and ALWAYS leave feeling like I have been totally ripped off! I know what you are thinking-- why go back? It's been for items that my mechanic said should be taken a look at by a Buick dealer-- non mechanical issues. First off all they DO NOT stand behind their fixes. After fixing a problem, same problem happens again - same part and everything and they say it's isn't guaranteed because who knows what I did to it-- what the hell could I have done to a $1000 part in a few month??? This is an ongoing complaint that I have seen in other reviews too...Them not standing behind what they fix. When I asked them to look at the issue, they said maybe if I came in more often (for all my vehicle work and oil changes ect.) They could look at the issue I was claiming was not fixed and not charge me a diagnostic fee but since I don't come in often enough, they were going to charge me a diagnostic fee to see if the issue was fixed properly. It's either fixed properly or not! It has nothing to do with how often I use your service! They are always soooo sketchy there! On another instance, they couldn't figure out what the problem was with my leaking roof (on an 8 year old car!) and wanted me to pay ANOTHER $150 So they could keep it longer to try to figure out the problem. When I said I wasn't going to pay more and just pick up the car and deal with the problem, THAN they call me back in like 1/2 an hour and they have a solution for the issue that, guess what??-- ended up fixing the problem. I couldn't help but find it interesting that the solution only came right after I wasn't going to pay anymore and take my car away. I just never feel good about using them! read more

Capital replaced something in my vehicle less than a year ago and it has stopped working; brought it in to another shop and was told it needs to be replaced. Talked to Capital and they will not even LOOK at my vehicle without a minimum $140 shop charge, plus the charge to replace the faulty part. I will never, ever take my vehicle here again to service, nor will I ever buy a new vehicle from them. read more

Had an incredible experience purchasing my 2016 Audi SQ5 through these guys. Dealt with Adam and Colin through the process and both were very helpful, and always willing to answer any questions I had. They worked the numbers and got me an awesome deal! They ended up including bonuses such as tints (instead of the trip) to sweeten the deal even more! These guys will go far and wide to source out any vehicle you are interested in no matter the make or model. Maulik helped us through the paperwork, and did not try to pressure us into purchasing any warranty's or extra add-ons which was extremely respectful, and made this experience great as there was never pressure throughout the entire process from first seeing the vehicle to purchasing it. These guys were very accommodating with my uncertainties, and even allowed me to take the vehicle for a night to make sure I was in love with it as their main focus was for me to purchase a vehicle that I loved, and not regret a purchase! It has been 2 months since the purchase of this vehicle, and I am in love with it! Capital had done a major inspection on it, completed an oil change, and cleaned the vehicle to make it look brand new! This is the only dealership I would recommend, as so many dealerships have given my family and I the run around, but these guys were not interested in pushing a vehicle on me, but helping me find something I would fall in love with. read more

I brought my car for servicing due to the air conditioner not working as well as provided my extended warranty information. After three full day visits and three diagnostic charges due to the air conditioner being forgotten to be looked at during the first visit the issue was finally diagnosed. Not only were they happy to charge me the third diagnostic fee they also quoted me $1300 to repair the issue (replace Evap core) without taking the time to look into my extended warranty coverage. I called the warranty company when I got home after paying $170 for another diagnostic fee and was to,d not only was that diagnostic fee covered by my warranty the repair was as well. The service department did not apologize for the error nor did they offer to refund the diagnostic amount. I did not have extra money to spare based on incompetent laziness and lack of awareness to attempt to save money based on the fact I was already there twice. I will not be returning and instead will take my car to another repair shop willing to reimburse the fee I was charged. I am very disappointed in their customer service especially given the current economy where customer service drives revenue sales. read more
