The pool was an indoor pool and they had lounge chairs around the pool to hang out in. It was a very nice pool. They also had valet parking. Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel. Anything that we needed they provided to us within a reasonable timeframe. It was close enough to all the activities without putting us in the middle of everything. This hotel is located in an area that has construction and doesn't automatically pull up on the gps but it pulls up the condos right next to it. I would def come back and stay at this hotel again.

I love walking into a place that feels like home. Everything was clean, they had the little store for little things you could've forgotten or snacks, and the lobby had an array of seating from cozy to standard cafe tables. The room was great, and the gym had all the needed equipment for a good workout. The gym is small but there was rarely ever more than one person in it, so win. The only down side is the coffee was pretty terrible... they had all the great things like flavored creamer etc available but it still tasted a bit burnt/tarred. Hard to explain. Regardless, there are plenty of coffee shops around and a Tim Hortons in the corner . Definitely pinning the location if I'm ever in Toronto again.

Not like shady from a nice row of trees. Shady like while waiting at this one light signal about a mile away we saw: 1) a girl high on something very very slowly lose a battle with gravity and failing to get her drink that was in her hand to her mouth. Her arm was behind her after she flopped onto the sidewalk. We watched for about 2 minutes. She definitely will not remember that she put her gloves down on the sidewalk. Which led to 2) another female druggie witnessing this and debating whether or not to help her (or rob her? ) all while this lady's pants were well below her butt cheeks where we could see the type of panties she was wearing. 3) on the other side of the street was a man spraying pepper spray on another man while they were waiting at a bus shelter. The sprayed man barely reacted. This caused a second man to pepper spray him. The first man then threw his empty can of pepper spray at him. After this- our light turned green. Ok so finally arriving- the guy at the host was very nice. Explained the what streets to walk on and where to avoid. Parking was ok. But there's a small flight of stairs to drag your luggage up. Then another short 5 stairs or so to the host desk. So if mobility is an issue then you might have a problem here. Also found out that parking was about $75 usd for 2 days of parking. Breakfast was ok. Had the waffle station, dried breakfast cereal, hot oatmeal, banana, apples, mini muffins and donuts, bread, bagels, hard boiled eggs, and hot food warming trays. The first day had bacon, scrambled eggs, fried sweet potato wedges. Second day had sausage links, western omelette patties, and potato home fries. Typical juices, coffee, and tea. Only one choice of tea bags. My suite had a king sized bed and I think a king sized pull out. No additional bedding or pillows for the pull out. Garbage cans (2) are tiny. Toiletries are full sized attached to the walls. Our lotion bottle was out but I brought my own. Shower had nice hot water but the spray was very narrow. And it took a long time to rinse everywhere. The hotel contacts you through text so it was easy to get any issues resolved. A 24/7 rabba was about a block away as well a a small Timmies. All in all the room was pretty nice. I'd say 4.25/5. But the rest of the hotel situation was a little troubling. I wouldn't be against staying here again but I'd personally look around first.

We rarely needed transportation because everything was so accessible. The hotel itself was spotless. Our room and the common areas were consistently clean and well maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. What really made the experience special was some of the staff. While a few of the front desk interactions felt a bit indifferent, Mark gave us a warm welcome when we checked in and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Ethel from housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping our room immaculate and always greeted us with a smile. I'd also like to recognize the ladies in the Club Lounge, who were welcoming, attentive, and hospitable. I'd highly recommend this Marriott property to anyone visiting Toronto.

The convention center is an easy walk from the hotel; as is the stadium and several other points of interest for touring. Dining options were a bit of a walk, but still not bad. This was extremely convenient since we were from out of town and relying on public transportation.
