Were quick to ask for more money two times very clsoe to closing that my realtor covered for me. The only good thing was my realtor. All hail Carline Johnson from dotloop an outstanding individual veteran and the absolute best. If you ever gate chance get her she will go out of her way and fight for you . Dont be fooled you need a good realtor on your side. in the end she sacrificed over $1600 of her money so that the right thing could be done with this dispicikable organization Capital Title. Horrible experience when selling a property. I literally had to do the settlement statement in excel and send it to them to get them to get it right. Isn't this what they do for a living???? They used an online notary who called to schedule my closing on a Tuesday, when it was supposed to be on the following Friday. Capital Title contacted me saying they couldn't close early as I requested. I didn't request this! Then I didn't get the email from the online notary to review my documents - had to do the closing/sign my documents using my phone. The notary made a mistake on my account number, I didn't catch it (closing on my phone), and they respond that I GAVE the wrong account number. Cost me $50 for bank fees and 2 days delay in receiving my funds. Bottom line, any mistake they make they will blame you for it. And they make LOTS of mistakes. AVOID at ALL COSTS!!!!! read more

Unorganized, no communication, no follow up, just not a good title company . Had no choice because this is the title company that the seller wanted to use but I would NEVER willingly use them . Don't recommend. read more

My experience with this title company was horrible. I would advise everyone and anyone to stay away. Long story short- I was the seller, someone else was the buyer on a transaction that was supposed to close on a Friday. My agent and I were working with title during the week of closing to make sure we had the appointment setup and no issues. As of Wednesday afternoon, Capital Title went silent. So we continued to call and push and got no answer. Finally, on Friday (the day of closing) after calling and emailing all day, I received a call at 4:40 p.m. from a guy named Sebastian (not the girl with whom I had been working). Sebastian explained to me that he was a lawyer and owner and that I am in breach of contract because I didn't close on this transaction. He then stated that he would have a mobile notary sent out to my house on Friday evening to sign. I told him I would wait for this mobile notary. He then went back and said we would have to close on Monday or Tuesday. As it turns out, Sebastian is part of a wholesaling group and gets houses under contract and then assigns the contract to investors. Not only did he fail to disclose this information to me as we asked numerous time, but he failed to put assignment language in the contract to be able to legally do so. I explained to him that I would sue for specific performance under my contract if they didn't close by Tuesday. We ultimately closed on Tuesday and funded on Wednesday. Sebastian never called and apologized or tried to make it right. This company is not only negligence in their duties to their customers/client but shady as well. I would never, ever do business with them or the "owner" Sebastian, and I would advise you to stay away as well. I'm an attorney, so at least I know my options without consulting anyone; however, you may not be so lucky! read more

Very unorganized location. Escrow officer did not provide service as expected on a cash file. Won't even provide information how to move or send the wire to another location so we can close. I will never use his company again nor will I refer to those who want to close. At this point we just want to transfer the wire. read more

Stay away from this title company. They do not own up to their mistakes instead they blame the buyers and agents for not ordering HOA statement of account on time or following up with such orders. They should know what is needed for closing since they are a title company you would assume. Made my buyer pay. $150 rush fee for something they neglected to notify weeks in advance and not 4 days prior to closing Instead of owing up to their mistake the office manage Kenyetta Thomas blames my buyer for calling her office WTF.
