It pained me to type this because I didn't want to. I hate sharing bad experiences but this was one that we were not going to brush under the rug. I can't speak on the rest of the team because we only dealt with Mark and his assistant. I actually waited a few weeks to post this review so it wouldn't be typed out of anger. He never ran my credit to consider my debt before allowing us do a purchase agreement on for a new build even though we're in a community property state - I had to find that info out on my own. We sent emails after emails / calls after calls once we realized this and he would completely ignore us along with his assistant who I won't name. They wouldn't answer calls from our realtor or respond to our emails - IF they did it was days later they emailed back. There were literally WEEKS before we would hear from him that we can actually post proof of. We did our research and read reviews so we were dumbfounded by the treatment and the situation. What was it about us that caused such carelessness? Why us? We called it a lost and cancelled the purchase agreement losing $2000 on our first ever home buying experience. While we forgive him and have grown stronger from the experience, it's one we will NEVER forget. We now qualify for a home after all the hard honest work and guidance put in by another lender. read more

We all know when it comes to purchasing a home there are so many questions and sometimes we feel overwhelmed and maybe even confused. I have to admit I was a bit scared at first doing all this on my own but Carrie Panacek explain things in a way to where I understood and she definitely went above and beyond to help me move from California to Houston! There were times when I even called her after hours and she always picked up or at least text back to let me know what was going on even if it was on the weekend! Even when I asked questions repeatedly she never got frustrated she just explained it in another way to where I understood! I know for sure hands-down if I needed to go through this process I would deal with her again! She even reached out to me when I arrived in Houston to make sure I was OK, if I had any questions at all to let me know that she is here for me! & !!! We received the worst most terrible customer service from Mrs. Maria today. She was super late for our appointment. As she arrived in the office she came in with a bad attitude and didn't even bothered to apologize for being late. She is rude, arrogant and very unprofessional. As I was giving her our documents I started asking her questions, she seemed bothered by all the questions I was asking. She immediately increased her bad attitude and began to raise her voice. I kindly asked her to keep her voice down and not yell at us, she just laughed and continued with her lack of professionalism and didn't stop yelling at us. I then politely asked her to give me a few minutes to speak in private with my husband, so she left and went to the front desk to wait. After talking with my husband about the terrible, poor service and bad attitude we were getting from her we decided to go with a different lender, we left the conference room where we were waiting for her and went to the reception desk to inform her that we had decided to go with another company. The receptionist and Mrs. Maria laughed at us as I told her our decision. Mrs. Maria said "just be honest", I said "we didn't like your attitude and lack of professionalism", they continued to laugh at us as we walked out and left. She made no effort to apologize. Of course not! How could she? You can't expect education from obviously uneducated and unprofessional people. Very disappointed!!!! Right after we left the establishment I called the real estate agent who referred me to C&T to let her know about our bad experience, she told me that she was sorry we had to go through that and mentioned that Mrs. Maria had treated another one of her client's she referred to C&T in a similar way as she treated us and that after hearing from us she will not be referring any more people to C&T. read more

We have worked with Tami on 2 occasions in the last 3 years. We have purchased a home with her and refinanced a home with her. In all honesty, the process both times was streamlined, professional and super quick (she had us ready to close in 3 weeks!!!!!) On a personal note, Tami was really nice and never got irritated with my constant issues (I am hyper with undertones of Type A). Every...single...call and email were answered super quick. I am so glad I didn't have a large bank or broker handle my initial mortgage. C&T Mortgage was very professional throughout the entire process. Tami was great and very accessible. She was always a phone call or email away. I didn't have to deal with the problems I often encounter with other organizations (Miscommunication, delays, lost documents, untrained agents, etc). This was never a problem with C&T mortgage. They explained the pros and cons of different mortgage terms and worked to get me the best rates. I was always dealing with one person or her assistants when she wasn't available. Documents were always handled quick and efficiently in a timely manner. Calls were always handled personally. If there was an issue or if something needed to be handled, a simple phone call or email was all that was needed. Turnaround was always fast.
