The only bad thing I have to say about the place is...it might be far for some of us in the GTA. But if the ceremony & reception are held at this location it won't be a problem at all. If we didn't have a church wedding, this would've been the ideal place for the wedding! Just beautiful!

She lacks professionalism and doesn't know how to organize a special event or assist with fine details. At one point I remember she threatened to stop the wedding.. Lmao. If you plan on hosting an event there please consider this review. If you can get someone else to assist you in the booking/planning of the event then sure try it out but she is honestly the worst. She almost ruined my sisters event by yelling at our DJ infront of our guests.. Wtf? And she yelled at us as we tried to set up the room and mentioned to her that she was missing extra chair and setting for it. She deducted money from my sisters deposit when it was her fault all along. We have email confirmations as proof. We let it go because it wasn't worth it. And you know what everyone still had a good time thanks to the rest of the staff. Also the hall is pretty when the lights are out but in my opinion because she's such an awful organizer and manager the staff was a little unorganized. I like the open bar layout in the room I was in - it had a variety of drinks available and I love how it opens up to the grand lobby that's right beside it. This is perfect for weddings - doing some sort of mini photo booth; or birthday parties, where you can just hang around, mingle and see different table set ups. Inside the hall can probably host up to 15 tables or so. Great sound system, dance floor and high ceilings. I also like how they have spaced out the tablets are appropriate as possible to ensure social distancing. All the staff were also very accommodating and making sure each guests are served. It's tough nowadays with the pandemic to host large venues, but I'm glad Mississauga Grand was able to make everything easy to follow!

I had paid a deposit in March to hold the space for an event in July. I asked for my deposit back and she told me that they do not refund deposits. I was never told this upfront and I stated that to her, she then agreed to return my deposit but expressed she could not do it right away. I said no problem and was very understanding, I waited 3 MONTHS and she never contacted me. When I emailed her a second time she then told me that I had to pay a $50 fee, I refused to pay the fee and she sent me the following..."$50 will not make me rich you will get your money back I learned a lesson not to trust people for online deposit my mistake trusted you and made no contract but learned a lesson and will always remember you. Thanks please do not reply I will give you money back maybe you are in too much of need god bless you".  Completely unprofessional!!! I definitely dodged a bullet in doing business with them and advise others to beware.
