As soon as I came to visit Chateau Le Jardin, I knew it was the one. Imagine my joy when they said that the only fall date left was actually our preferred date! It felt like it was meant to be! The venue itself was so grand and elegant. Definitely gave me castle vibes! The layout of the Victorian hall worked out great for us; we loved the courtyard access and also the huge bridal suite! Our Sales Consultant, Geraldine, and Event Coordinator, Danna, were so great to work with. They were so responsive and professional. They were able to help with any questions or concerns we had leading up to our wedding, and also provided many helpful suggestions for our event, including the layout and menu. Everything turned out wonderfully with their help. The day of staff were also great and very friendly. We had a couple of no shows, but they were nice enough to pack up all the extra food for us to take home. I had quite a packed schedule that day, but they brought us some food/hor d'oeuvres straight to our bridal suite to make sure we got to eat too. Really appreciated this gesture. Food wise, they definitely had a huge selection available. We opted with a standard 3 course dinner with pasta, 2 meats (chicken + beef) and crepe gelato. The food was good overall, except the beef was a little dry but that is to be expected when cooking for a large group. The accommodations for dietary restrictions were also great, we had eggplant parm for the vegetarian meal and I've heard good things about it! Our hor d'oeuvres and late night station (pub crawl) were also really popular; it's been a month but people are still raving about it when they see us! I attended a friends wedding here. It's a nice venue especially with the ceremony set up outdoors. The front foyer is a bit small so it felt a bit tight while waiting for the reception, especially by the bar with people lining up for drinks and others trying to pass through. Plenty of parking, and the room size was great for the amount of guests attending. Didn't feel cramped. read more

I would like to thank my first point of contact Ms. Kristin, she made it so easy for us with her menu and beverages recommendations, this was peace of mind. Danna who took over from Kristen, set the floor plan and the remaining of the event planning, both were absolute professionals. I just went to a reception here. The venue itself was nice from the outside. The parking was a little strange. There seems to be a lot of events here. But there were issues with the food 1. It was indian food and they served chaat. The chat tasted like the chick peas came from a can and weren't really cooed well, there wasn't enough tamarind in the chaat. The spice were not done well, and it didn't have any cilantro 2. The pasta we were served was RAW. Like not al dente, actually RAW. Uncooked, I was startled by how bad it was. The bar also didn't have gin, but I am guessing that was just a matter of what the people throwing the wedding decided to stock. The chicken was pretty good, I liked the rice. read more

Wow! Is all I can say but I'll try for more, from the second you drive into this establishment you are like Wow! The Chateau in the front is exquisite, beautiful, and that's just from the outside. Attended for an Open House they had yesterday so the party was in the hall, at the back. From the moment you walk in your know this is no ordinary place. Everything is not nice, it's really nice! Big huge room also duded up. The open bar was awesome! The food was amazing! Amazing! Pork Porchetta, especially the skin, SUPERB! Amazing pasta, wow was came out my mind, many times throughout the night. The donut display was too cool for words, donuts hanging on the wall like a piece of art rather than food. I just had my wedding here and my husband and I are both really happy with everything at Le Jardin. It's a gorgeous venue and we both fell inlove with it right away. Our guest were blown away by the seafood antipasto bar and the menu we pick out. Michael the executive chef and his team did an incredible job. Everything was fresh and cooked just right and very flavourful. He is Le Jardins best asset. Sincere thanks to the whole kitchen staff that night. This includes the servers who were all very kind and attentive to my guests. Jennifer and Marylou our coordinators were extremely flexible and thorough. They covered all the little details and made sure we understood the process. The Maitre D Ivana was incredibly kind and helpful too. She made sure everything flowed nicely on the wedding day. She took good care of us that day. My husband and I felt well supported by them. We also went with their in house decorator and florist Rosemary (S2 events) and Cinzia (Instyle Flower Designs) for easy coordination. They both did a great job. Our guests were in awe of the decorations/flowers. I was very happy. They were also able to accommodate to our tight budget. Initially there were a few hiccups in our dealing with Le Jardin due to miscommunication (or lack thereof). There was one bad apple working there but its not a reflection on the business as a whole. In the end they executed and delivered everything well. It really was a dream wedding. For couples who are considering Le Jardin or who have already booked with them but have not picked out the menu, I would highly recommend the anti pasto seafood bar, the risotto and getting plated service. I have to say. BEST. HALL. EVER! Prices are impeccable, food is amazing and Will happily refer anyone having an event here! The New Years Eve party was by far the best one I've ever been to. From the security in the parking lot, at the door and throughout the party ensuring everyone inside is safe, to the martini ice luge, the coat check lady and her sense of humour, the servers carrying the hors d'oeuvres, the aerialists serving champagne from the ceiling, the seating placement was honestly so perfect, the lovely family we were sat with were sweet, the servers being very knowledgeable of the ingredients, being treated like family by the owners and staff, the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The music was amazing and had everyone dancing from start to finish. And there was a late night burger and fries station!!!!! read more

Yesterday, my sister and 20 of her girlfriend's celebrated her birthday doing a Ladies Brunch at Le Jardin. They have a birthday brunch special for $39.99 which is all you can eat PLUS, all you can drink. Yes, all you can drink! Now, keep in mind that it's not top shelf liquor but for that price, it's a steal! At first, my sister was given the run around trying to book the venue. They were indecisive about accommodating her large party saying that they won't be able to guarantee her seating until they see how busy it is. That didn't make much sense b/c she already had a guaranteed 20 ladies dining. My sister needed to confirm the detail so she could bring her own centerpieces and personalized seating for guests. She wanted to make it extra special compared to the regular tables for the other Sunday Brunchers. My sister was getting very frustrated b/c she had to do last minute shopping the day before the event to get items due to the fact that the restaurant wasn't able to confirm the reservations/table seating for her. Once we did get there though, they made up for it. They comp'd the champagne toast and also gave her a big cake from the staff which I thought was extremely thoughtful seeing as we didn't bring one. We had just planned to all eat from the dessert bar, but providing the cake and champagne was such a nice touch and very much appreciated. The wait staff was amazing and friendly. They were very accommodating. The bartender was also clever and on point with his skills and in being a mixologist. This isn't your average brunch with bacon, eggs and French toast. It's more of a "lunch" style brunch with an antipasto bar, fresh pasta making station and then meats, potatoes and veggies at another station. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. We all had such a great time! I completely recommend coming here for brunch! read more

Blown away. This banquet hall is absolutely beautiful. Soaring high ceilings, and just tons of little architectural extras to make it special. The ceremony took place in a room that had a large staircase at the back of it, which allowed the wedding party to enter dramatically. The reception area was beautifully decorated and the service was unobtrusive. The food was phenomenal. It was a mix of a Chinese and Italian wedding, which meant that I basically had three full dinners in the span of 4 hours. There was an antipasto/seafood buffet, featuring the most amazing thing I've ever seen: a Peking duck table. We started with pasta in tomato sauce with mushroom risotto. The pasta was a tiny bit undercooked, but I'd take that over mushy pasta in a million years. I really enjoyed that it had a lot of bite to it, actually. I LOVED the tomato sauce. I could have eaten just that and been super happy. The next course was a veal chop with veggies and potatoes. Basically, if I were at a restaurant, I'd get just this plate and be full for the evening. But that was not going to happen. After that we had lobster and crab legs. It was pretty good, but I generally like it to be cooked Chinese style, not broiled. There was also an ice cream crepe for dessert, but I had some fruit as I'm dairy-free. Or rather, I had three cubes of fruit and left the rest as I was barely breathing at this point. The kids got chicken fingers and fries and I saw that they were very accommodating to other peoples' food sensitivities as well. All in all, this may have been the most well-executed wedding across the board that I'd seen, and the venue had a lot to do with it. Food was fantastic and brought out and taken away in good time, the service was en pointe and it just looked amazing. This is a fantastic spot to hold your event. I went to this place for our annual school dance. The venue was very stunning however the food wasn't as great as I would expected. They served us chicken, salmon, veggies, and desert. The salmon was too dry in my opinion and veggies are too salty as well. The desert wasn't too good as well mainly because the cheese-cake was too creamy. The antipasto buffet was plentiful and had a lot of options; cold cuts, cheese, tripe, sausages, salads. All other courses were delicious too. Service - they were quick and had 2 servers per table. We had about 300 guests there. Water bottles always replenished and dishes cleared as soon as you done. Atmosphere - this hall needs an interior make over. My wife and I didn't choose this hall for our wedding for that reason. It needs to be refreshed. read more

My husband and I hosted our wedding reception here in October 2018, Micheal from Chateu went above and beyond to ensure that our day was nothing less than a fairy tail! He helped us curate an unique menu, and then accommodated me when I changed it many times during the process! He was available by phone or email 24/7. A month before our wedding we were assigned a coordinator, she was amazing at reviewing the details. My coordinator and wedding planner ensured that all the details on my.. ugh, OUR big day was exactly as we discussed. On the night itself we had a Maître d' who was by outside all night, solving any problems that arose. The venue itself was breathtaking, not like your typical banquet hall whatso ever! From its castle like exterior to its modern yet regal decor and their newly renovated patio, Chateau le Jardin was the prefect backdrop from my rustic-chic theme! Lastly, the food and drinks left my guest raving! They provided a modern twist to classic meals and everything was cooked to proffection. The bar tenders were making speciality cocktails and shooters for my guest throughout the lastwe evening, making it a fun and lovely night to remember! Any Bride to be has a hundred things running around there head leading up to the big day, the team at Chateu made sure they did not miss a beat. This venue was absolutely perfect. I just completed 2 retirement events here one with over 100 guests and the second was 200 guests. I am looking forward to my daughter's wedding here next summer with over 350 guests. The staff were so helpful from planning to execution. I have never planned any events with this amount of people before and the coordinators were so helpful. I heard nothing but compliments from my guests from the food to the beautiful halls. I would highly recommend this venue for any gatherings you might have. It is such a pleasure working with the people here. My company recently held an industry gathering at Le Jardin, and while the venue was stunning, the lack of professionalism from management was disgraceful. *The rental fees were paid using a barter network services company, but the electricity, bar and food were paid in cash* Sandro was our contact and he was nothing but trouble. In our initial quote he told us electricity for our two day event would cost roughly $1000. We had external electrical companies quote the job no higher than $2000. So it was quite shocking that with less than 24hrs before we arrived to set up, Sandros informed us that his electrician had raised the price to nearly $4500!! While a slight increase in price is justifiable, the manner in which we were dealt with was unacceptable. After being denied a detailed quote explaining what the actual added costs were, we were left with no choice but to pay the jerk. The Internet was another big issue for our attendees. Sometimes it worked fine, and other times it would drop randomly. I asked the floor manager to fix this problem at more than one occasion, and was told it must have been a problem with our attendees computers and phones! He told me that he would go restart the modem, but never did. (I had to go find a latter and do it myself) During the event, the Le Jardin staff that setup and made/served food (especially Louis/Maria) were very good. The food was excellent, the labourers were friendly and helpful, there was plenty of parking, and the facility was superbly clean. Although the venue is quite impressive, I would strongly urge you not to hold your gathering at Le Jardin. While our event was not typical for this type of venue, there was very little done to accommodate our needs. Sandro is a bully and showed many times that he did not give a damn how our event turned out. read more

The Chateau Le Jardin was like a castle. I approached this place and said to myself "holy crap" It was just such a huge venue. I walked all the way around and once I walked inside, it was so spacious with large surface areas and high ceilings. One banquet hall fit more than 25 tables of about 8 per table. The dance floor was able to fit a lot of people, the bar area had liquor and beer so there was nothing to fear. They also had an espresso machine for a little pick me up for the guests. the Washrooms were nice and were kept relatively clean. The patio was beautiful and yes I will say it again, spacious. Not sure if the venue was also the caterer so I wont speak to much about the food. Overall this place will definitely be considered in the future if I needed to have book a banquet hall for any reason. Till next time, Jimstar Out!! read more

I will not recommend this venue but if you choose to. please make sure whatever you are told is put into writing. I booked this venue for my daughter's birthday party and it turned out to a nightmare. My husband and I went in for a tour, we made it clear to the sales person (Tereza) the number of expected guests, she showed us the grand renaissance. We agreed to the price we were quoted to secure the space and date. shortly after signing the contract we were told we have to pay additional fee for sound to the In house DJ engineer if we were bringing in our own DJ, which we did. When my planner got to the venue for set up on the day of the event, she called to tell me the space is not what the sales person had promised us. I quickly called the office to make sure it wasn't a mistake, the receptionist was so rude and dismissive. I had ask my planner to ask for Tereza and was directed to her office, Tereza told my planner she didnt want to speak to anyone....I was shocked and at the same time furious because it felt like daylight robbery. After explaining the situation to the said owner, he said the only solution was for me to pay extra 5k to have the space I was originally promised after paying over 4k. We had to negotiate the price because the event must go on by paying additional $1695 to extend the space. to cut long story short I paid close to $6k for a space that could have cost me $5k. The management took the situation as an opportunity to make extra money. keep in mind the fees I paid was not including food or alcohol. we catered for our food and brought in our alcohol. from the start to the end of my event, it was one demand after the other....Imagine being told you would have a space that will accommodate your guests and more then find out it was all lies just because they wanted to make a sale and being harassed to pay for additional tables and chairs for a space you paid for? Horrible, horrible horrible experience. read more

I had 3 parties at Le Jardin, first two were great ( food could have been a little better) but otherwise perfect however when hosting the third event which was the second annual fundraising gala held at le jardin became a nightmare and embarrassment I couldn't understand how until I realized that the difference was that the night did not have Michael and Marylou there to perfect it. The gala guests included school trustees, councillors, school superintendent, MPP's to name a few.....aside from the staff not showing the same incredible service and unbelievable perfection that Michael and Marylou have always shown from the moment I walked into that office to the end of the nights of the first 2 parties but the worst part of all was one of the staff constantly nagging at me as I was receiving, seating and greeting guests wanting to be paid, then a guest asked when we would be starting dinner as it was quite late and she replied with "unless we get paid we cannot start dinner" the table that asked was the table with all the councillors and school trustees, needless to say word spread throughout the guests like wild fire that we would not eat unless I paid. I have never ever heard of this, it was embarrassing to say the least, the evening was an absolute nightmare. While I appreciate Michael and Marylou and their impeccable service I know that they cannot always be there to see through the perfection they give,however Le Jardin and its incredible reputation should not be incredible only if you are fortunate enough to have both Michael and Marylou there until the end so unless they are willing to be at every occasion booked at le jardin I don't think I would be comfortable and confident that the event being held will be an flawless one. A banquet halls success should not be reached by just a Michael or Marylou, the service they both provide should be given throughout from beginning to end shown through food, service and the event as a whole. read more

Absolutely amazing, they even had champaign and sweets in the bridal sweet for me and my new husband! a nice touch! my only complaint, I did not like my host for the night, he assumed because my husband was Italian that I was too, he was far too involved. I have been searching many venues to host our AoDaiCanada.org dinner and dance gala but many are over priced for what they offer. When I google and called up Le Jardin, their staff was very helpful and professional. Especially, the Director Michael and the manager Marylou. They ask me what the event was for? We told them that we are raising awareness and funds to help victims of human trafficking/child s*x slavery and children at risk. We really wanted as much funds to go to the children as possible, therefore budget was a big factor. Michael and Marylou was so supportive of our cause and went out of their way to help me save $500 in service value to help the children. I truly respect business people who are not all in it for the profit but are also generous to lend a helping hand to important cause human trafficking. I just want to sincerely Thank you Michael and Marylou for your love and support. I truly encourage and motivate us knowing we have the support. God Bless you both. I attended a wedding at this venue very recently. I had requested no red meat - I was given chicken fingers as my entree. One of the tables completely collapsed, along with the table decor, plates and glasses. In addition, a strobe light was plugged into a floor outlet under my chair - the cable was tight and not taped down. The excitement and joy of my engagement was almost overshadowed by the dread of planning a wedding - the most expensive, momentous and time consuming party I will ever throw in my life! Overwhelmed, I emailed a bunch of venues and was pleasantly surprised when Michael, the executive chef and director of sales at Chateau Le Jardin called me within minutes. From the outset, Michael's jovial and professional manner put me at ease and gave me a sense of confidence that planning a wedding would not be such a daunting task. After meeting in person and viewing the beautiful (truly stunning!) event space, my fiancé and I were certain that this would be the perfect location for our wedding reception. We did check out a few other places just to compare, but none came close to Chateau Le Jardin when it came to price, quality and quantity of food and the part that I liked the most was that adding elaborate decorations to the space (while one could) was not necessary. As well, I cannot say enough about Michael's support and assistance in planning this exciting life event. My fiancé and I (after initially booking) decided to change our wedding date, which could have been a monumental task between trying to coordinate the venue and church, but Michael stayed in communication throughout to make sure that we got what we needed and were happy. These people know how to treat their clients. From the minute I spoke to Michael I knew this was the place to have our function. Such a beautiful venue and they made everything sooo easy. Michael and Marylou are an incredible team and do absolutely everything to make it a very simple process. Easy to speak to and incredibly accommodating in so many ways. The day of the party, the preparation staff were so great with a few last minute changes and Sabrina who was the maitre d' taking care of us that night couldn't do enough to make sure we were very happy with everything. The food was delicious, served hot and in excellent quantity. The bartenders and wait staff were amazing. I won't look at anywhere else the next time I need to book a function. TO AVOID. I had scheduled an appointment to check out this venue for my wedding and after waiting half an hour for someone to see us, we got fed up and left. They said they had us down for another time (yeah right! I had just confirmed that appointment just a few days before). If they can't get themselves organized for a simple appointment, how can they expect me to trust them with my wedding? Attended a professional association's new year's eve event here. The whole experience was disappointing. Valet people and some the other staff members were smoking very close to the entrance of the reception hall and all the smoke was coming inside. We left with our clothes smelling like we had taken a dive in an ash tray. The chairs were really old and visibly dirty. The food was so bad that most people couldn't even eat half of it. The veal chop was undercooked and the Tilapia tasted like anything but fish. The bathrooms were also very poorly maintained and unsanitary. They charged us a lot for this event ($110 per person) which to me was a total rip-off. read more
