I just had my wedding here and my husband and I are both really happy with everything at Le Jardin. It's a gorgeous venue and we both fell inlove with it right away. Our guest were blown away by the seafood antipasto bar and the menu we pick out. Michael the executive chef and his team did an incredible job. Everything was fresh and cooked just right and very flavourful. He is Le Jardins best asset. Sincere thanks to the whole kitchen staff that night. This includes the servers who were all very kind and attentive to my guests. Jennifer and Marylou our coordinators were extremely flexible and thorough. They covered all the little details and made sure we understood the process. The Maitre D Ivana was incredibly kind and helpful too. She made sure everything flowed nicely on the wedding day. She took good care of us that day. My husband and I felt well supported by them. We also went with their in house decorator and florist Rosemary (S2 events) and Cinzia (Instyle Flower Designs) for easy coordination. They both did a great job. Our guests were in awe of the decorations/flowers. I was very happy. They were also able to accommodate to our tight budget. Initially there were a few hiccups in our dealing with Le Jardin due to miscommunication (or lack thereof). There was one bad apple working there but its not a reflection on the business as a whole. In the end they executed and delivered everything well. It really was a dream wedding. For couples who are considering Le Jardin or who have already booked with them but have not picked out the menu, I would highly recommend the anti pasto seafood bar, the risotto and getting plated service. I found that these made the most impression upon my family and friends. Thank you again to everyone at Le Jardin and best of luck to all the couples still in the planning process. It's stressful but worth it! :)

Le Jardin is a fantastic banquet hall, great staff and atmosphere, always a pleasure working with them. Would definitely recommend this venue for all types of events.

Blown away. This banquet hall is absolutely beautiful. Soaring high ceilings, and just tons of little architectural extras to make it special. The ceremony took place in a room that had a large staircase at the back of it, which allowed the wedding party to enter dramatically. The reception area was beautifully decorated and the service was unobtrusive. The food was phenomenal. It was a mix of a Chinese and Italian wedding, which meant that I basically had three full dinners in the span of 4 hours. There was an antipasto/seafood buffet, featuring the most amazing thing I've ever seen: a Peking duck table. We started with pasta in tomato sauce with mushroom risotto. The pasta was a tiny bit undercooked, but I'd take that over mushy pasta in a million years. I really enjoyed that it had a lot of bite to it, actually. I LOVED the tomato sauce. I could have eaten just that and been super happy. The next course was a veal chop with veggies and potatoes. Basically, if I were at a restaurant, I'd get just this plate and be full for the evening. But that was not going to happen. After that we had lobster and crab legs. It was pretty good, but I generally like it to be cooked Chinese style, not broiled. There was also an ice cream crepe for dessert, but I had some fruit as I'm dairy-free. Or rather, I had three cubes of fruit and left the rest as I was barely breathing at this point. The kids got chicken fingers and fries and I saw that they were very accommodating to other peoples' food sensitivities as well. All in all, this may have been the most well-executed wedding across the board that I'd seen, and the venue had a lot to do with it. Food was fantastic and brought out and taken away in good time, the service was en pointe and it just looked amazing. This is a fantastic spot to hold your event. Oh, and ample parking as well.

This wedding was quite big and although it was very spacious for the guests, admittedly, it was slightly hard seeing (and hearing) the bride and groom as they were on a raised center cove that was slightly walled off on the sides. The mics were also dying I think and needed the batteries changed out. Food-wise, it is a different story. 10 course chinese food dinner which you would think is pretty standard but it was actually quite hit or miss. I understand that portion control is typically a judgement call made by servers when they come around but our servers were quite inconsistent portioning out the food (at least at our table). I got 1 strand of jellyfish w/ my suckling pig. Multiple guests at our table also got uncooked e-fu noodles on their plate when the noodles came around (the noodles were literally crunchy still LOL). Fried rice was very bland. Crispy chicken was overcooked to smithereens. The guy sitting next to me had several shells and cartilage pieces in his soup that he had to pluck out haha. The rest were pretty good. So like I said, it hit or miss items. I found the bartenders on the left side of the venue to be far more professional and knowledgeable. Some of the bartenders working the bar on the right side of the venue were giving sass to a lot of guests (especially when they didn't know how to make simple drinks) which I was ok with but I could see a lot of guests didn't appreciate the added sass. For late night grub, the burgers were actually not bad! As a recommendation to the kitchen staff management (in case they're reading this), I know it's just late night grub, but if you gave the servers at the late night bar a grill to melt the cheese on the patties that would be awesome. They were there serving poutine and compiling the burger toppings anyways! Melted cheese on those late night sliders go a long way! TL;DR Amazing venue, food hit or miss. Would recommend for the venue alone (but perhaps explore w/ a diff cuisine or dinner vendor?)

From the cuisine to the exceptional service, every aspect of the event was meticulously executed, leaving a lasting impression on me. The culinary team at Doctor's House truly outdid themselves. The steak was cooked to perfection, with each bite tender and flavorful. The salmon was equally impressive, with a delightful balance of flavors and textures. The potatoes, which often tends to be an afterthought, were actually pretty good. it was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The dessert course was a delectable in sweetness and creativity. Each bite was a delight, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Doctor's House boasts ample parking, which was a huge relief, we had no issues with parking, there is accessible parking as well. Furthermore, the venue itself is beautifully decorated, with elegant touches and plenty of natural light. The staff at Doctor's House were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The service was seamless, with each course served promptly and with a smile. There was this particular gentleman who kept ensuring our table had enough water and drinks (sadly forgot his name). Attending my friend's wedding at Doctor's House was an absolute pleasure. I would highly recommend Doctor's House to anyone looking for a venue for a special occasion. It's clear that the team is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for every guest. One of the Most Unprofessional and Sketchy Hotel Experiences I've Ever Had…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. When we arrived, the pullout couch was absolutely disgusting. We had to request sheets and pillows just to make our own bed. The walls were so thin we could hear everything, so forget about getting any sleep. But the condition of the room was only part of the problem. The staff behavior was what really pushed this experience into disturbing territory. We were in town for a wedding but received a family emergency call and weren't sure if we'd be returning that night. So we put our luggage in the car just in case. Suddenly I started getting calls from the hotel because the maid had gone into our room and reported that we didn't leave any luggage. I cannot emphasize enough how creepy and invasive that is. Why is a staff member snooping around and keeping tabs on whether guests leave bags behind? It was beyond unprofessional. I explained to the front desk (a woman named Linda) that we might not return that night due to possibly having to head home, and instead of showing understanding, she pressured us to "make a decision" by 6 p.m. It felt like they were trying to double-dip--charge me while re-renting the room. Even after asking if management could approve a refund, I was told they'd look into it, but no one followed up. I had to call again during the wedding photos, and still no action was taken. In the end, I never received a refund or even a partial refund from the manager, who I believe was Kimberly. And yet, I was still asked to leave a positive review. The nerve. I paid for the room. My whereabouts, my luggage, and whether I return or not should not be monitored or questioned. The entire stay felt sketchy, invasive, and stressful--on top of being flat-out uncomfortable. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Between the filthy conditions and the shady, overbearing staff, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I will be telling everyone I know to stay far away

The amount of sauce was inconsistent as well. I had more sauce on my plate then my friend's plate and I felt I didn't have enough sauce. Probably because the chicken was dry. The dessert we had was a crepe with ice cream inside and it was obvious that it was not made in house as all of the plates looked exactly the same like it was copied and pasted out of a machine. And it was obvious they prepared it way in advance because the fresh berries that were on the plate for garnish were frozen making it evident that it was prepared in advance and then placed in the freezer until serving time. We were served penne pasta with a cream sauce and farfalle (bow tie) pasta with olives for an appetizer and it tasted pretty good. It kind of made up for the not so great main course I had after.
