BUYER BEWARE! If you are serious about buying an expertly assembled on or off road toy as well as wanting to be treated honestly with dignity and respect TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! I had been in contact with Donny (the owner) for 3-4 days prior to my wife and I making the 13 hour drive to patronize his business Capitol Cycle in Macon, GA. I specifically asked Donny after we had settled and agreed upon all the financial numbers that if he could please have ALL PAPERWORK and whatever various etc. sale items that would be needed to finalized and complete the sale be as ready and as prepared as possible since we had a very long trip ahead of us to go back home after making the purchase. After showing up and simply testing the Stark out by riding very cautiously and carefully around the parking lot everything for the most part seemed to be in order. Except i did immediately notice that they hadn't yet attached a temporary state legal identification plate to the license plate holder to make it officially temporarily road legal until i received the MSO from the manufacturer to then be able to go down to my local county DMV and get my permanent plate and registration as well as provide them proof of insurance on the motorcycle with whoever your insurer happens to be. I asked again about why they had still not issued me a temp. tag for the bike as I would ABSOLUTELY be needing one as I only intend to ride it in the public road wash in my home town. Donny my salesman said "oh let me go take care of that for you" I of course thought great once he gets that bolted in when can surely get out of your hair and on our way. I walked outside immediately notice simply company branded Capitol Cycle vanity plate with absolutely no numbers or letters on it making it seem very suspect and it just had a simple hand written date 30 days out from that date. I said to myself and my wife that doesn't look legit however after making the full and complete payment everyone couldn't shove us out the door fast enough! They went from we're all a family here! Kinda attitude to GTFO we have what we need from you already we have better things to do now. So i didn't even have time to question for a 3rd time now to David or Donny that there supposedly temporarily legit temporary tag doesn't look very official and to me looks like it could possibly get me in trouble. However I said to myself they do this as a profession day in and day out, they surely know the law when it comes to these things more so than me. They surely wouldn't set me up for failure with anything that's illegal and/or not legitimate. They surely wouldn't allow someone to make a purchase and me away knowingly having tried to save themselves the costs of issuing a fully legitimate and legal state approved temporary 30 day license plate. "No they wouldn't do that" boy oh boy did i soon find out the things dealers will do to cut costs and further drive up profit margins. On my very first ride within 2 miles of getting on my towns main hwy through the city I was pulled over and all hell broke loose. The cop immediately approached me and asked me who hell I thought i was driving on a public roadway with a completely fraudulent/illegal plate! And I should know better than to try and screw the system I gasped and said I literally bought it 3 days ago and the dealer issued me that plate right there you see bolted on back of the bike as my supposed temporary street legal tag that's supposed to be good for 30 days or until i receive all the proper documentation to get it plated and registered with the state. 30 mins later still sitting on the side of the road in the blistering hot FL summer sun, the cops had my brand new (to me) Stark not only impounded and confiscated for 30 days but i was also hit and charged with thousands if $ in tickets/fines and towing yard fees storage fees. Capitol Cycles has chosen to completely ignore this issue and just avoid talking to me at all costs. They have now made the money and anything after the sale is made is clearly MY PROBLEM to deal with on my own. read more

When interest was directed towards another bike and steps were begun to purchase the bike, Capitol Cycle came back with it was not available. Capitol Cycle still refused to return monies provided. I needed a warranty job done on my slingshot, after the original Slingshot shop did not communicate with about completing the job. I made contact with three other dealership and Capitol Cycle was the only dealership willing to complete the job. I had direct contact with Jake. When I arrived the staff completed my job within the time limit that they gave and Bryan Helstowski made sure everything was done correctly. I appreciate their customer service. They also looked at another issue that I was having on my slingshot that had nothing to do with Polaris. They went over and above my expectation. I will return for future repairs. read more

Bait and switch sorry to say. They advertised a 2024 polaris sportsman 450 HO for 4299. I tried to call and get an out the door cash price, but couldnt. Went in person. I purchased a brand new 2023 KTM XCW on April 1, 2023. I met the driver in Alabama and paid for him to meet me there. He did not bring the tool kit, the extra parts or the reset dongle. The driver advised me to contact the dealer and let them know which I did immediately. I have since contacted the dealer numerous times to try and obtain the items. I last spoke with Victor, the GM, last month who stated he would try to find out where the items are and have them sent to me. Still nothing.... I tried again today and now not even getting Victor on the phone. I purchased the bike which included these items and I have had to spend additional money out of my pocket to buy the parts needed for the hand guards. I am not a happy customer right now and I feel like I need to escalate to a public complaint in order to get this to get any traction. read more

Agreed to trade in and purchase price of new vehicle: then GM said vehicle was technically used since vehicle was held for another buyer and could not be issued with a warranty! Salesman asked if I would like to buy a two year warranty for $1800 to make it right? ' yeah I'd love to pay more for something that's normally free' very sketchy, unethical dealings. Buyer beware. General manager told me during discussions this vehicle is normally on a 4 month wait list: 'it's brand new, You get lucky'. Just wanting to say the service department is amazing I went in for a warranty claim on a high lifter 1000 sportsman and honestly I thought the warranty company would claim abuse over warranty but like they say a warrantee is just as good as a dealer that makes the claim!! Tc was amazing and kept me very well informed the turnaround was a lot better than I expected I expected a month it was nowhere near that. I was also very impressed with the parts department when I called and ordered a few things against my repair order instead of having to pre-pay for them. When our son was down training with Plessingers, he needed a front sprocket and they said for $200 they would sell him a $20 part! They stated it would take their mechanic an hour to take it off the floor model. Really! Needless to say our kiddo did not buy it. What kind of shop doesn't support our riders? This shop does not! DO NOT BUY FORM POLARIS!!!!! I ordered a Slingshot "R" on February 1st, 2022 and they said I would have it in 6-8 weeks. I has now been 12 weeks and counting...now they are saying I will not receive it until September 2nd, 2022. That is 7 months and 1 day!!! That is still not a concrete date!!! If you want something a year old when you purchased it new this is the place for you. I will not do business with them a gain and I suggest you do not either. I purchased a new chieftain limited on December 3 2020 from this dealership and took it in for an oil change a week ago for the 500-mile first required oil change and after receiving my motorcycle back and leaving the dealership a car pulled out on me and I applied my rear brakes the ABS on my motorcycle locked up and caused the motorcycle to shake and slide. I immediately return to the dealership with my motorcycle. The technician stated that there was a dilemma with the ABS and he needed to contact the Indian main office for guidance on how to fix the problem. I left the motorcycle for the diagnostic test to be performed and a week later I'm still being told they don't know what's wrong with my motorcycle and I had to go up there for that information. In my opinion customers, service SUCKS at this dealership. They will lie to you before they tell you the truth after the sale. No phone call updates or anything. Beware of these customer service people. Yes, the warranty from the Indian corporation may be good but the Techs are not!!!! read more

My son Ordered parts on a Thursday didn't have time to wait for them to arrive to dealership so he drive up to warehouse to pick up parts its was a 9 hour drive ! Got back to training camp and no all the parts He ordered were there ! Called Saturday spoke to parts department they reordered missing parts there fault no apology and or compensation for time or gas ! The parts were suppose to be in Monday which there closed so Tuesday My son makes the now 6 hour trip to Macon and gets back to camp gives mechanic parts and still missing parts!!! I took my motorcycle to capital cycle to get my headlights repaired, they said it was a disconnected wire, and after the fix I ended up with a bad stator and battery. They would not fix what they broke. It costs me about $500+ to get their mistake fixed. I had the kawasaki Dealer on the phone while trying to get my bike fixed and he said that they where not going to help me and I should leave. read more

Set out and about a mile down the highway gave them a call to remind them. It's 5:00pm on the dot when I call they close at 6:00pm so I'm trying to get there. I purchased a 2016 Yamaha Fz07 in June which I sold a month later..I also purchased a Yamaha Extended Warranty for $1299.When cancelling the warranty I was told by Adam in the financial department.the refund would take 30 to 45 day's.Some weeks later I called asking about the status of the refund and to get clarification as to what was taking so long.I was told by him when asked about calling Yamaha."Don't do that,they don't like to be bothered" I called anyway and they were nice as could be.They said they had issued a check to Capital Cycle on 08-03-2016.I called again last week and was told it would take another 30-45 days.I feel this is a load of crap and I am getting the run around.Companies write checks every day.If Capital Cycle has my money it shouldn't take but a few days to get a check issued to me.Y'all sure were quick to take my money but are super slow about issuing my refund. read more

These folks are awesome. I was on-route from Florida to North Carolina when I had a flat tire 20 miies outside Macon. I called roadside assistance and the tow driver recommended Capitol Cycle. Since this happened after closing time, we left the bike at the service door and the driver dropped me at a motel. Took a cab the next morning, and much to my surprise, they'd already pulled the bike in the shop ready to work on. Two hours later I was back on the road again. The best thing was how friendly and helpful everyone was, and the repair cost was very reasonable. And while they didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need, the mechanic did tell me about a couple of things that needed attending to. Not critical things, just good recommendations without any hope of making a fast buck. If I lived in Macon, these folks would be my go-to place, no questions asked. read more

These People are a joke. 1st they tried the bait and switch on me. They said it was the wrong "vin" so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then they rectified it and was going give me a decent deal(went up $1k) and i was ok with it and gave my deposit. Had to wait until bank to respond next day so they were holding my down payment in the safe. Next day deal didn't go through and went back for my cash and the lady was in a meeting told me to wait 1hr(I gave her 2) So I go back and sales manager gave me a story about how nobody told him(but he was the one that suggested it) and that they deposited it and didn't have the cash because of that. Told me too wait until the end of the day and he would have my cash. And now I just Got off of the phone and they told me to wait till the end of they day tomorrow so they can see if they have enough to return it back to me. 2 stars, and I'm probably being generous. Sadly, these guys are the closest Yamaha dealership to me, and I'm REALLY not impressed. My dealings with the sales staff so far has been less-than-impressive, when I can get them to acknowledge my existence. The only dealership worse is the Harley dealership in Macon. I'm thinking unless you're standing right there in front of them waving money in their face that they dont respond. I've spec'd out a Yamaha on Yamaha's web site and sent that (specifically) to Capitol Cycle; no response yet and that's been a week now. I sent them these same specs 3 weeks ago via. email and received no response to the email and only after calling them did I get talked to. I've still not seen any pricing in any way/shape/form from them. During this time I received quotes from at least 6 other dealerships, and I've purchased the bike from another dealership down the road. Seems they wanted my business. They had to order the bike, and they then customized it to my specifications. We did all of this via. email and over the phone. Not one time did I step foot in their dealership until I actually picked up the bike. Capitol Cycle definitely is not in the business to do business this way. By the way, counting cars, trucks, RV's, boats, motorcycles, I've now purchased 9 automobiles sight-unseen until actually taking delivery. If you need to go sit on the bike, and IF this dealership has it there for you, then you may have a different experience altogether. However, if you know what you want to purchase, and are specific about it, and would like a price quote from them, good luck!!!! read more
