Jamie provides the acupuncture and Jarrod provides the Tunia (Chinese hands on massage therapy). The treatments are affordable (only $30 each) and effective, and last about an hour total (for both the acupuncture and the tunia). I've been coming here twice a month for the past month, and I am feeling much healthier and happier since starting these treatments. Acupuncture is extremely helpful in treating a variety of health issues. If you suffer from any kind of chronic pain, headaches, high blood pressure, allergies, or digestive problems, you could most likely benefit from regular treatments. Descending Dragon also offers martial arts classes, and Jarrod is a highly knowledgeable expert instructor, as well as being committed to traditional Chinese medicine. If you don't mind a communal setting for your treatments, try it, and you'll soon experience the multitude of benefits that acupuncture and Tunia offer. She takes her time to not only teach but also gets to know us as individuals, encouraging us to get to know each of us participating. I think that's what makes the environment what it is.. as a welcoming, friendly, sweaty, hard working, motivating, fun fast paced learning experience. As if this wasn't enough to have anyone give it a try, the first class is legitimately free. No catch.
