I was disappointed when I went to book a car at the Timmins airport but was arriving too late for the national rental desk. I had to rent from a competitor and it was a completely different experience. The vehicle had a chipped windshield, was a lower "class" and I had to pay for mileage. Now I will arrange my flight arrivals so I can book with National!

It doesn't look like much on the outside, but on the inside it is up-to-date and comfortable. They have a good hot breakfast. The hotel has two floors with no elevator, which made it impossible for my wife to ascend to the second floor room that they had reserved for us - and there were no lower level rooms available. It was Thanksgiving, end of day, and there were likely no other rooms available in town. Thankfully, the hotel staff was very understanding and gracious in moving another guest who had not yet checked in to the second floor making it possible to stay the night. Only four stars because I was very explicit in my reservation that we needed a lower level room (booked months earlier), but my request was ignored / not confirmed.
