My friend goes to Capri EVERY YEAR! So of course, when my husband and I decided to go, I asked her to recommend everything for Capri. She said, book with Capri Boats. I didn't even do any comparison shopping or hesitate to hire them because my friend does everything first class. The owner Julia and I texted back and forth and my friend and Julia came up with an amazing itinerary for us. We are back in the US now and are telling all of our friends to charter a boat from Capri Boats.
In case you wanted to know our itinerary....
We chartered a 45 ft boat because I told Julia my husband gets motion sickness. She said the 45ft boat has stabilizers. Incidentally, my husband did great on the entire boat ride.
They picked us up at our hotel's port. We stayed at Il San Pietro in Positano. Then they took us to Positano for photos. Then we swam in the Amalfi Coast. Then the grottos. Then, you must stop at Conca Del Sogno day club and order their zucchini pasta. That was soooooo fun. The day club comes to pick you up in their little boat to take you to the restaurant. It's a fun and posh experience. Usually, you have to pay a hefty fee to stay there the entire day but Julia was able to help us get just a lunch reservation.
The two crewmen that were with us all day were soooooo nice and fun.
Then they went around the entire Capri Island before dropping us off at the Capri harbor. We stayed at Quisisana because it is convenient. I won't say it's that nice of a hotel even though it was pricey. But you walk out and you see Chanel, Bottega Veneta, Bunello Cucinelli, LV, Celine... you know what I mean ladies. LOL
