Salad bar had a large variety of choices; broccoli salad, corn dish, I think there was a pasta salad, as well as regular salad bar fare; lettuce, cheese, bacon bits, etc. the buffet also had potatoes and green beans. Server brought cheesecake to all the tables. My dinner partner said he'd like to move closer so we could eat there more often. This is definitely a hidden gem off the beaten path worth the drive.

Ten customers all at once was a tall order for the wait staff but they handled us well. We had menus and drinks in hand within minutes. The menu had normal "American" fare of chicken sandwiches and burgers. I had a Swiss mushroom burger which was, unintentionally, served medium rare. Just the way I like it. They had a salad bar which I did not try, but other people in our group liked it. Dick's Place is an okay hole in the wall probably best suited for burgers at lunch and beers after work.

The partially open kitchen fills the back of the long narrow restaurant. The service was great. Someone from the kitchen brought out each plate. The Old Fashioned was decent, but it did lack the single cube that takes the cocktail to the next level. The small wedge salad was plenty and it was amazing. The Chicken and pasta dish was amazing.
