When I think back to living at a Capstone Company property, I become furious; furious that it took me 7 years of living in Athens before I discovered it! I was a student, then an employee at Ohio University for a total of 8 years. I've always sought out above-average residence during my time. After settling for what I figured was the best by Athens standards, the need came for me to move in my final year. I stumbled across Capstone Village Capstone Property Management's multi-townhouse complex off Ohio 32. I was immediately floored by both the quality and the price of the properties offered. After I signed (and it didn't take me long to decide), I was continually amazed at the quality of service offered by the manager and his staff. He made himself available for any problem you might have. Example: the only moment I had at my Capstone Village address that could qualify as bad was when my refrigerator unexpectedly malfunctioned and began leaking. I called the manager, who without hesitation ordered a new refrigerator on the spot, to be delivered the next day. That's as bad as the experience got! If you're a professional in the area, or if you're just a student that gets easily annoyed by the noise and presence of other students, you absolutely have to consider Capstone Company properties. Had I stayed in Athens, I would've easily spent the remainder of my time in the Capstone Village. Not finding it until my final year may be my biggest regret in my entire 8 years. read more

I moved to Athens from a different state for graduate school and rented from Capstone Property Management without actually visitng the home I was to rent. When I decided the home I was renting from Capstone was a bit too rural for me (perfect for some people, I wasn't one of them!) Bob was quick to find me another property closer to town and transfer my lease without trouble. I have two large dogs, which can make finding an appropriate place to rent difficult, but this has not been an issue at all with Capstone Property management. When the area I live in flooded unexpectedly this year, Bob allowed me (and the two large dogs) to stay cost-free in a vacant, furnished apartment outside the flood range until I could get back to my home. The few maintenance issues I've had have been addressed promptly and professionally. As a former non-student tenant of Capstone Properties, I received excellent service. Bob was always quick to respond to problems and was always friendly. When flooding threatened our house, Bob was at our house within an hour ready to call people to move our furniture to storage. We were put up in another property until the flooding threat abated, and fortunately the water never reached the house. If you need a rental in Athens, Capstone should be one of your first choices. This is one of the best apartments I have ever lived in! The pricing is extremely reasonable and Bob is just awesome! He is very nice and does anything he can to be an upstanding individual! Just recently I accidentally sent a package to my old Athens address. Bob emailed the current resident and asked them to bring it to the office. Even after not being his resident, he still makes sure everything is alright ! I love bob and I love capstone! I would highly recommend !!! read more
